She's a strong advocate for the reef and its conservation and brings her people skills, problem solving and positivity to everything she does at C4C.
She's been assisting with kids club and teaching the next generation about reef conservation, breeding giant clams, planting coral cookies and A frames, attending workshops and training sessions and assisting with the day-to-day operations of C4C.
Teisa has been volunteering with the program for a few months and has become a key part of the team (she also has her birthday today 🥳 so a big Happy birthday to @tmmt._fj ).

Marine scientist Kolora has come into 2023 with an action packed week!
She's been planning guest conservation activities, meeting with C4C director Dr. Austin and moving A frame coral plantations to safer waters.
Kolora is a graduate from @unisouthpacific and a staff member for @plantationfiji . Her natural curiosity about the reef, leadership and sense of humour help get things done around the island.

The Padina genus of macroalgae are often found on our fish houses and around degraded reef. In the second image, C4C volunteer, Teisa, scrubs away the algae to allow the planted corals more direct access to sunlight.
