The death of Christ stands at the very center of the Christian faith, not as a tragic end but as a divine fulfillment. On the cross, Jesus declared, “It is finished” (John 19:30). Those words were not a cry of defeat, but a proclamation of completion. The price for sin had been paid in full, the gap between God and man bridged once and for all. His death was not accidental; it was an intentional act of love, obedience, and redemption. Through His sacrifice, humanity was offered forgiveness, righteousness, and restored fellowship with the Father. I’m learning a lot recently about the personality in the video above - Evangelist Billy Graham, the truth about the finished work of Christ became the heartbeat of his message throughout his lifetime. Preaching to millions, yet his message remained strikingly simple and consistent: salvation is not earned by human effort, but received through faith in what Christ has already accomplished…. As Christians in a time like this, we should often emphasize that the cross is enough. Be careful not to point people to religion, rituals, or human striving; rather point them to Jesus crucified and risen. In a world that constantly pushes the idea of “doing more” to be accepted, Be sure to be truly authentic, standing firm on the truth that Christ had already done it all. The work is finished; the invitation is to believe. Just as the cross marked the completion of God’s redemptive plan, I’ve seen in men whose life and ministry reflected a man fully yielded to this message. They didn’t try to complicate the gospel but carried it with clarity, conviction, and urgency. Their voice echoed across generations, reminding the world that hope is not found in human strength, but in the finished work of Christ.
