Announcing the 2026 Stifel Copper Cup presented by United Airlines! Men’s World Cup racing is returning to Copper Mountain next season, pending FIS Council approval in the spring. We are thrilled to welcome the world back to the Athlete’s Mountain for another Audi FIS Ski World Cup next year.
Copper stepped up in hosting the world’s best when it mattered most ⛷️ Known for its excellent conditions and renowned training grounds, Copper was tapped as an alternative World Cup venue three times when the original locations experienced low snow years.
In 1976, alpine racing legend Rosi Mittermaier swept the women’s races here, earning her namesake on Rosi’s Run. In 1999 and again in 2001, Copper answered the call, welcoming the women’s World Cup giant slalom and slalom 🏆❄️
Copper has also welcomed the U.S. Alpine National Championships, serving as hosts throughout the two decades — proving time and again it’s a mountain built for champions.
Now, in November 2025, we welcome the world back to Copper for the Stifel Copper Cup presented by United Airlines, an Audi FIS World Cup event. Copper will host the men’s Super-G and giant slalom, and the women’s giant slalom and slalom — the only World Cup stop in the States for women. It’s the next chapter in a legacy that spans decades and leads straight toward Milano Cortina 2026 ✨🇮🇹
