On Saturday at the cube, we are playing live with franco franco franco for the first time ever. Be there or be a 2D cube 🔳
This is part of ‘Like static in the dust’ - A two-day collision with the state of affairs.
Bottom up culture, as static on dust particles, accumulates invisibly beneath the sheet of conformity — releasing itself through collision and separation, in not fully predictable ways. Music to Come, Arsider, Misto Mame, Siamo Solo Noise and Cube Microplex present “Like Static in the Dust”: two days of screenings and live sound, mapping the connections between underground collectives practicing autonomy and cultural self-production, beyond the circuits of the mainstream. The first day is dedicated to screenings and live A/V and starts with an unreleased collage from collective video archives: the Turin squat movement from the late 90s to todays, a kinetic survey of whimsical situationism, DIY camouflage, resistance and collision with the state of things, showcasing autonomy as a vital necessity. During the second day an extended lineup from members of Italian guesting collectives ARSIDER, Misto Mame and Siamo Solo Noise, paired with a local counter part proposed by Music to Come and the Cube sparring across the venue through cut-up and manipulation techniques, NoFi soundscapes, inter-dimensional psychic sound journeys… featuring: Anna Giovanna, Adriano Cava, Arsider, Avon Terror Corps, BKV Industrial, Clinamen: pirates against the great void (screening), Copper Sounds, Craxi Driver, Franco Franco, guest, Henry Wilson, Infinite Spirit Music, Jumble Sail, La Grande Triple Alliance Internationale de L’Est (screening), Mugwort Maiden, not399093, Silver Waves, Speed Archer, tskali.
