Reposting from @asaspadesart !! We are one week out from the end of the raffle round - Please consider getting some raffle tickets for a chance to win some kickass art benefitting a kickass person so she can focus on kicking cancer's ass!! Details below:
**** Repost below****
Pheww, I haven’t done one of these in a minute. This time we’re raising funds for our beloved Bee (@mostlyjustmyoutfits ) and her vicious ass fight with ovarian cancer. As she begins her chemo journey, we are hoping to create as comfortable of an environment for her as her closest people and care team as possible. At this point money is a really helpful way for the public to get involved. We’ve been raising funds through gofundme for a year and we need to keep the momentum up! So I’m here dangling some amazing art in your face to give you more incentive to do so. Every artist in this raffle knows and loves Bee so this is a sweet and intimate situation we have goin here.
**To enter, donate $25 to the gofundme link in my bio. You can enter as many times as you’d like, each $25 counts as 1 entry[$50=2, etc].** Then screenshot your receipt and DM it to @asaspadesart .
Due to this being a longer term situation, I may do multiple rounds, so if you have interest in participating don’t hesitate to reach out. For now, this will be ongoing until (my birthday) July 5th. We do not have a $$ goal beyond getting as close as we can to the 100k mark!
Each winner will receive an assorted bundle of the amazing items pictured as a thank you for their participation.
And as always a huge thank you to the amazing artists who have donated their work to support our sweet Bee <3:

Elderflowers.
I am considering returning. I am tabling next month. My first event in a year. A little nervous. Thanks for existing.
And if you're seeing this and I haven't responded to your text message in the past 3 months, I'm sorry. It might just take me a little bit longer.
Made a little Berdosa patch for my jacket. Just a little screen printing paint, a tiny paint brush and some cotton fabric.
I'll have an Afsky patch soon to fill in that blank spot.
Me and my dog 🌲🌌 I know I already posted this to my story, but I've got news!!
My dog will shortly not be my dog anymore since someone bid on it!! This is quite exciting. I hope I get to find out who it was and help with the passing off.
The auction is benefitting Max's Helping Paws and the Doris Day Animal Foundation & ends on Saturday.
Grabbed some fence grapes from my mom's house and made some jam last week.
I didn't remove the seeds because I was tired and antioxidants (next time I might remove half or something because it really is quite crunchy).
I think I did a 2:1 ratio grapes to sugar and then a quarter lemon. I would do more lemond next time. And figure out a better way to crush the grapes since they are still quite full.
Copper penny raku glaze on the exterior (and something else I didn't write down underneath 😬)
Thank you Mark for being the coolest and also answering my million questions (and creating such a comfortable environment that I felt I could ask all my questions)
Overalls Raku Power Unite!
Post Raku class at @hacienda.cv with @julimamaa
We laughed (over a wild sighting of microwaved bag hot dogs) and we cried (over a bee that got stuck in our jelly) and we got magically funky with some copper oil spill glaze and molden hot raku fire magic joy.
Raku results from a class at Hacienda Hay & Feed last weekend 🧨
Among many things (so many things, thank you Mark!!), I learned that raku is not food safe, which was a devastating reveal since I had hopes of making my own raku style kiln, but I somehow missed that tiny detail in all the YouTube videos I watched.
Alak alak, I'll find another way but in the meantime I am totally happy to never drink out of this cup if I can just look at it shimmer for eternity.
These were some of my favorites on these crop tops & the tank.
My little block is next to it (or rather three taped together!)I recently started using Essdee softcut, though it's actually a perfect inbetween of any of the soft rubber stuff I've carved and traditional lino which makes my elbow ache to carve (because I'm 30 and also maybe I'm not properly sharpening my tools??). So this material is great. I'm impressed by how crisp the prints are because it doesn't move around much like the softer stuff and it can still imprint/emboss paper as it's pressed like lino, but I can wash it off with water.
I had no idea I wasn't supposed to be washing lino with water until, over time, a few of mine have been damaged and no longer print properly. No YouTube lino videos I've watched happened to mention no water, but you live and you learn and for now I'm going to stick to Essdee!
Mailed these babies to Georgia on Tuesday!
@georgiaboofest it's been an honor working with y'all 🧡 thank you for believing in me to do these large quantities and being game to experiment a little as we went!
🍁🌰🍂
Block printing these shirts/sweatshirts was such a different experience from printing the paper prints/posters. On the paper, every mistake is glaringly obvious, using my tiny paint brushes to blot in flecks where ink didn't stick. But on fabric, the ink really gets pushed in there (with the help of my little press) and it was fun to do so many different color combinations, with only a few gradients because that adds a whole other level since each color can be a slightly different consistency so half the print can some out just slightly lighter or blotchier.
