In Gstaad, Switzerland, this 3,000 m² private members’ club by Foster + Partners is redefining the idea of a living freeport - uniting art, design, dining and wellness in an alpine setting.
Rooted in its landscape, the timber architecture opens to the Alps in summer, while climate-controlled galleries protect collections year-round.
Copper Beech have been shaping the project right the way through, from integrating operations to defining the amenities and brand experience into the architecture, creating a club designed to endure!

Some highlights from a trip we had the pleasure of going on to Taiwan and Japan last November to gather inspiration for a new project in Asia!
