ABC aims to put collectives and co-operatives in the spotlight. Founded for ECMC 2023 in Budapest, it aims to provide support to the member collectives and structures across Europe. It not only focuses on courier cooperatives, but also welcomes bicycle collectives with their own workshops, and co-ops focusing on political work.
“We all work on and around bikes, attend events, and also do a lot on the side to maintain our self-organised structures. ABC wants to change the recognition around this, and improve representation. The goal? Small contributions for each member, big outcome with united power!

ECMC BERLIN 2026 FUNDRAISING EVENTS

To support the organisation team of this year’s European Cycle Messenger Championship in Berlin, that will attend from the 14th to the 18th of May, CoopCycle, as a network of bike messenger cooperatives, is organising a sister event on the 25th of April in three beautiful cities : Lyon, Barcelona, Baiona !

Local groups will make various events to gather money to give away to the major event !

We introduce a few of the latest cooperative structures for bike logistics to join our federation 🌎
They now use our digital platform to run their daily deliveries. Moreover our services, including grant-seeking and cooperative community support, are now advantageous to them!
We now have 60 organizations spread across 15 countries thanks to these fantastic additions to the CoopCycle network. 🙌
Hopefully many more to come in the fam’ to redefine bike delivery together ✊

At the end of August, several coopcycle delegates flocked to Malmö for the Nordic Cycle Messenger Championships - @ncmc25 - co-hosted by @alternativakuriren 🇸🇪
The small but vibrant Nordic messenger community (and many esteemed guests from further afield!) gathered in the southern Swedish city for a weekend of races, parties, workshops and side events.
We look forward to returning to Malmö next year for the CBSM (Swedish champs) and heading north for the 10th edition of the NCMC in Göteborgs ✊
Bike messenger championship ?
ℹ️ a competition that highlights the courier’s craft, combining speed, skill, and route organization. Beyond the race, it is a safe and inclusive space where the messenger community gathers, celebrates diversity, and shares experiences. Through open forums and collective discussions, the event also serves as a place of learning and exchange, strengthening both professional practices and community bonds.

🚲 ¡Intercooperación que cruza fronteras!
Tres cooperativas de nuestra Federación unieron fuerzas para mejorar la experiencia de la app móvil de CoopCycle, la red internacional de cooperativas de delivery en bicicleta.
📱Con el objetivo de optimizar el trabajo de quienes gestionan los repartos desde la app, desarrollando nuevas funcionalidades claves.
👏 ¡Otro paso más hacia una tecnología pensada desde el trabajo y para el trabajo!
