Viral Donner Kebab - but make it Veggie 😍 @mezemike - I had to make a veggie version🤌🏽 Honestly I impressed myself with this meal 🔥🤤 Let’s get @vivera_uk to see this recipe and sponsor the next 😜 Ingredients for Donner: 1 white onion Chillie flakes (optional) 2 packets of @vivera plant based Chicken breast fillets 1tsp garlic powder 1tsp paprika 1 tsp salt Juice of 1 lemon 2tsp tomato puree 6tbsp of Olive Oil ( I like to make a little pattie with the mince to taste and adjust if needed) Add all your ingredients above to a blender so that they form a paste. This needs to be sticky with enough olive oil in there so that it binds and doesn’t crumble when cooked. Then you’re going to split your mixture into 6-8 equal parts and roll it out as thin as possible between 2 parchment papers. Remove the top parchment paper and roll into strips as shown in the video. Repeat for all the mixture. Then pop in the over at 140 degrees for around 15-20 minutes flipping them over half way. Roll open once cooked and ENJOY this mouth watering meal. Pop to your local chippie and get a salad in pitta for a proper donner kebab experience. Or if you want to be slightly healthier, Pop to your local Turkish store and grab some Turkish Bread. (If you don’t have one local, you can use pitta or wraps) and have with salad and sauces of your choice. I have some other recipes for homemade chillie sauce and burger sauces on @cookwithprabs if you want everything from scratch 🤍 #vegetarianrecipes #veggierecipes #veganrecipes #viral #donnerkebab #viraldonnerkebab #viralrecipes

Chocolate Banana Bread 🍌🤎 Ok Guys, this one was worth the wait. 😍 I have been trying to perfect a healthier banana bread recipe and it definitely took some trial and error (scroll to last pic to see what we started as lol) We have come a long way from the stodgy (but tasty) loaf, to now a wonderfully fluffy, moist and almost guilt free Chocolate Banana Bread which is entirely free from refined sugars!! 1 Loaf cut into 10 Slices. Per slice: 137 Calories 5g Protein 5g fat 20g carbs Ingredients: *200g very ripe bananas (about 3 small) *100ml Aquafaba (can use chickpea water from a tin or @loveoggs do a vegan egg substitute) (if you eat egg, you can use 2 eggs) *50g butter melted (swap out for vegetable oil to make it vegan) *50ml almond milk (or any) *8 medjool dates (feel free to add more if you like it sweeter) *10g ground cinnamon (optional) *1tsp baking powder *1tsp bicarbonate of soda *110g self raising flour *50g Raw Cocoa & Maca Organic Whey Protein from @theorganicproteinco (free from refined sugars and sweeteners) If you don’t want to add the protein powder, instead use: *140g self raising flour *20g cocoa powder Method: Preheat your oven at Gas Mark 5. De-pit and soak your dates in your almond milk overnight. In a mixing bowl, mash your bananas with your melted butter. In a blender, add your soaked dates in milk and Aquafaba until Dates are blitzed and it becomes a thicker consistency then add to your mixing bowl with the banana and butter. Whisk all these ingredients together so that they become aerated and fluffy. In a separate bowl add all your dry ingredients and then sieve them into your mixing bowl. Fold in the dry ingredients until all mixed together. Coat your loaf tin with butter and flour and add your mixture in. Bake for 1 hour. Poke the middle after an hour, and if still a little sticky, bake for a further 10 minutes. Take out, slice and enjoy a guilt free low banana bread which is lower in calories and free from refined sugars! #egglessbaking #bananabread #healthy #norefinedsugar #easyrecipes #recipe

Gobi Manchurian 🤤 1 cauliflower cut into small florets Coat with: 1tsp salt 1tsp chilli powder (or to taste) 1tsp black pepper 2tbsp Corn Flour Add all into a large mixing bowl and make sure all the seasonings are evenly spread Then add in a couple of drops of water bit by bit to ensure all the powders have turned into a thick paste and has coated all your cauliflower florets. Airfry for 20-25 mins on 220 degrees mixing midway until desired crispiness Base sauce: 6 cloves of garlic minced Fresh Green chillies (to taste) In a Wok or large frying pan, heat up sesame oil with some chilli flakes and coarse black pepper to flavour the oil. Once hot, add in your minced garlic and fry off until golden. Add in a few drops of water to soften further and then add your chillies in. Then add in 2tsp ketchup 2tsp rice wine vinegar 100ml Passata 2tbsp dark soy sauce Simmer until sauce thickens and taste and adjust accordingly to desired saltiness/sweetness/tanginess. Add in your air fried cauliflower and any other vegetables you like (I used up broccoli here to bulk the protein intake). Cook through on medium-low heat with the lid on for 10-15 minutes. Garnish with fresh spring onion. Serve with Mint Chutney, Salad and Naan. #vegetarianrecipes #veganrecipes #easyrecipes #okra #indianfood #indianrecipes

Lahmacun Turkish Pizza’s 😍 Honestly I impressed myself with this meal 🔥 So guys, this will be a long caption as there is a few different components, but all very simple to make. Feel free to skip or buy from the shop: Lahmacun Mince: 1 red pepper 1 white onion Chillies (optional) 1 packet of @meatlessfarm mince 1tsp garlic powder 1tsp sumac 1tsp paprika 1 tsp salt Juice of 1 lemon A big bunch of parsley 2tsp tomato puree 2tsp of Olive Oil Salt to taste ( I like to make a little pattie with the mince to taste and adjust if needed) Add your pepper, onion and parsley to a blender so that they are roughly blitzed (not a paste). Then add to a bowl and add your mince and the rest of your ingredients mix with your hands. The vegetables will release water which will help bind the mince together and ingredients together along with the tomato paste and olive oil. Pop to your local Turkish store and grab some Turkish Bread. (If you don’t have one local, you can use pitta or wraps). Apply you mince mixture in a thin layer on your bread, fold in half and bake in the oven on Gas Mark 4 for 20 mins, flipping them over half way. Once cooked, open them up, add your salad, garlic and chilli sauce and roll into a wrap and enjoy! With a side of Pickled Chillies and Garlic, fresh lemon and Turkish Peppers. Salad: Cucumber Tomato Lettuce Red Onion Pomegranate Chopped parsley Dressing: drizzle of Olive Oil, 1/2 tsp sumac, juice of 1/2 a lemon and salt to taste) Chilli Sauce: 4 Vine Tomatos Chillies (to your desired spice level) 4 Cloves of Garlic 1 tsp salt 3tsp vinegar 2tsp olive oil Add all your ingredients to a frying pan with a lid, and cook on low gas for 20 minutes until your tomatoes are soft. Let it cool and either mash with the back of a fork, or blend if you prefer it smooth. Turkish Peppers: In a frying pan, add a drizzle of olive oil and pinch of salt and cook the peppers on high gas to get a charr on the outside. Once charred, add about 50ml of water, add a lid on and cook until desired texture (can be soft or still with a crunch) Pickles, Garlic Sauce, Tzatziki and Hummus brought from my local Turkish Shop. #vegetarianrecipes #veggierecipes

Wellness shots 😍 In our desi culture, when you’re ill, we get given loads of ginger, honey, lemon and tumeric. So why not make these wellness shots to pack your body with all these anti inflammatory goodness to prevent getting ill 🍊🍋🫚 Makes 14 servings: 2 large oranges 3 lemons A lot of ginger (about a palm size) 2 tsp of tumeric 1 tsp black pepper 1tsp cayenne pepper 300ml water 1tsp honey Peel your orange and lemon. You can peel your ginger or wash it and chuck it all in. These quantities are stronger in ginger flavour, but feel free to add more orange/honey and less ginger if you don’t want it as fiery. We like it fiery 🔥 If you have a juicer, chuck all your ingredients in. If you don’t, blend all your ingredients together in a high power blender, and then strain through a sieve first to get rid of most of the chunky bits, and then through a cheese cloth to get every drop of that goodness out. 😍 (PSA - wear gloves to avoid getting yellow nails lol) Keep in the fridge and have daily. You can also buy these cute little bottles from @amazonuk #wellness #gingershots #wellnessshots #antiinflammatory #natural #naturalremedies

Pindiya (Okra) Recipe: Wash Pindiya and thoroughly dry them. The longer you dry them, the better, this avoids them getting slimey. I like to do them in the morning and lay them flat on a towel until I’m ready to cook them for dinner. Once they are fully dried, then cut off ends and slice into desired shape. Thurka: (base sauce) Cut one large onion long slices. Fry off in neutral oil and 2 tsps of jeera When that’s golden add in about 4 cloves of garlic and about chunk of ginger, ground or very finely chopped. And about 10ml of water to soften and cook through. Once the water has half evaporated. Add in fresh green Chillies ( to taste) Fry off until golden Then add in passata (about 100ml) Then add your spices: Salt about 1.5 tsp or to taste Garam masala (1 tsp) Haldi (1/2 tsp) Amchur (1/2 tsp) Then cook off until all ingredients have come together to create a thicker thurka (sauce) Add in your pindiya and leave on low heat with lid on for about 20mins stirring every 5-7 mins to make sure it doesn’t stick to the bottom. Don’t stir too often as this can make the okra slimey. Once cooked, Garnish with corriander. Serve with roti, naan, rice or just a salad if you want low carb 🙂 #vegetarianrecipes #veganrecipes #easyrecipes #okra #indianfood #indianrecipes

Teryaki Tofu Poke Bowl 🍲 So this one is an easy one and SO delicious. Just a few component to prep and assemble 🤤🤤🤤 Serves 2 Tofu: Use your block of firm @tofoo (240g) and cut into cubes. Place in a large bowl and coat with salt, white pepper, chilli flakes and 1tbsp of cornflour. You shouldn’t need to add any water as the moisture from the tofu will help the coating stick to it. Airfry your tofu for 20 mins, at 180 degrees and shaking them about half way. In a pan, Use 1 packet of @bluedragonuk Blue Dragon Teryaki sauce and coat the tofu and heat through, add chopped spring onion as garnish. Pickled Cabbage: For the marinade: 1tbsp Rice wine vinegar 1tsp salt White pepper to taste 1tsp sugar 2tsp of water And mix together Grate or finely slice white or purple cabbage and add to your cold marinade and leave aside for a couple of hours. The longer you leave it the more the flavour will absorb into the cabbage. Spicy Carrots: Marinade: 1tbsp Gochujang 1 tbsp Gochugaru 1-2 tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar (I use 2 because I like it tangy) 1tsp sugar 1bsp water Grate or finely slice your carrots and add to your cold marinade and leave aside for a couple of hours. The longer you leave it the more the flavour will absorb into the carrots. Sticky Rice: Follow instructions on the packet :) Time to Assemble: Sticky Rice Teryaki Tofu Pickled Cabbage Spicy Carrots Finely Slice Avocado Finish off with, Sriracha mayo, chopped spring onions and black sesame seeds. #recipe #vegetarianrecipes #easyrecipes #pokebowl #indianstreetfood #veggierecipes #foodstagram

Soup Season, Tomato Soup 🍅🥣 Serves 8. Fill two large oven trays with a load of different types of tomatoes because they do all have a slightly different flavour, but I also love the aesthetic 😂 Beef Cherry Vine Piccolo 2 Red peppers 2 bulbs of garlic (still in its peel) Roughly chop and deseed the peppers. Drizzle with a healthy amount of olive oil, salt, black pepper and a small amount of fresh basil. You can add chilli flakes if you want a bit of a kick. Roast in the oven medium heat (Gas Mark 7) for about 1hour/1hour 15 - until soft. Check on it every 20 mins or so and stir the tray. Once soft, take out of the oven and let cool down and peel all the skin off tomatoes, garlic and peppers. (If you’re using a strong blender/nutribullet you can skip peeling the tomatos and peppers) Pour everything with the juices and add fresh basil into a pan and blitz until smooth with a hand blendet. Add 2 vegetable stock pot/cubes in and mix. (For the stock cubes/stock pot use less water than recommended as you don’t want it the soup too thin) Then place on low gas and bring to a simmer until its desired consistency. Adjust salt/pepper to taste. To finish off you can add some single cream and serve with your bread of choice.. ours is these part-bake petit pains 😍 #tomatosoup #soupseason #soup #recipe #easyrecipes #vegetarian #vegetarianrecipes #recipes
