POV: You’ve got a full day of baking ahead… so you prep first. All the ingredients measured. All the batches ready to go. When everything is lined up before you start mixing, baking days run smoother, faster, and with way less chaos in the kitchen. Little systems like this make a big difference when you’re working through multiple batches. Comment BOWL and I’ll send you the link similar to the bowls I use.

POV: You’re asked to make cookies for your favorite artist 🍪✨ Sometimes you keep it a little vague until you get the green light 😏 On Monday, I jumped on a call with a well-known media organization asking if I had availability to create a custom cookie set as a gift for a beloved showgirl.🧡 It was an immediate yes, and we got to work on inspo and design. Every cookie was an ode to a story and everything in between. From designing, baking, decorating, packaging, and delivering 24 custom cookies in just 2.5 days, this one was a whirlwind in the best way. I delivered the cookie box to the media team in Hollywood, along with their words in a handwritten note, and I’m still pinching myself. Congratulations to an artist who inspires us daily, whether through words woven into melodies or moments shared on a stage.🫶🏽 And a big THANK YOU to everyone supporting my little bakery and my very big dreams. Do you want to see the full set? 👀

Basketball cookies using the mesh technique! 🏀 I place mesh fabric into an embroidery hoop and airbrush @the_cookie_countess color right through it onto the cookie. When I lift the mesh, it creates this perfect basketball pattern with subtle depth and dimension. When the light hits it just right, you can see those different designs in the background before I even add the lines - that’s what creates the real wow factor. Then I add those classic curved lines with royal icing to complete the look. This technique gives you that authentic basketball appearance with incredible detail. Want the projector set-up I use? Comment ‘projector’ and I’ll send you the link!

The corn on the cob cookies might be my favorite from this whole summer set 🌽✨ Here’s how I create the texture: • Start with a yellow flood base • Pipe dots using 2–3 shades of yellow plus a few white dots for dimension • Make sure the dots aren’t touching each other • Let them crust before adding the next layer so the kernels stay nice and rounded It’s repetitive… but oddly satisfying 😂 The little imperfections are what make them look more realistic.

Edible seashells made easy 🐚 Dust the mold with cornstarch, press in fondant, remove the excess, pop them out. Done. Perfect for beach cookies, mermaid themes, or ocean designs. The silicone mold does all the heavy lifting. Comment FONDANT for my favorite brand. Comment MOLD for the silicone mold I use.

If you’ve ever packaged dozens (or hundreds) of cookies, then you already know… a good setup matters 👏 My two packaging essentials: • A solid heat sealer • A heat sealer table And yes… my Heat Sealer Tables are officially BACK IN STOCK. 🎉 But fair warning: they tend to go fast. Want the links? Comment TABLE for my custom Heat Sealer Table Comment HEATSEALER for the exact heat sealer I use Comment BOWS for the bows I use on my packaged cookies 🎀 Cellophane bags by @wiltoncakes

I often introduce myself as, “Hi, I’m Rebekah. I’m a mom and I make cookies.” But I’m not just a mom. I’m her mom. I’m his mom. I’m their mom. And being their mom isn’t about being perfect. I’m definitely far from that. But it is about showing up every single day with a love so infinite that even on the messy days… you always keep going. Together.🤍 Late night talks and early morning wake-ups. Traveling the world. Cheering from the sidelines. Laughing in the kitchen. Loving these humans through every version of life. To every mom, bonus mom, single mom, grieving mom, hopeful mom, pet mom, grandma, auntie, and every woman showing up with nurturing love in any form… Happy Mother’s Day!! What you do matters more than you know.💐

A few weeks ago I posted a floral piping video using an 1M tip and one of the biggest questions was: “Wait… is that buttercream or royal icing?” 👀 Royal icing. 🤍 The trick is in the mixing process. I whip my royal icing with a standard KitchenAid paddle attachment until it becomes super fluffy and full of air. That soft, airy texture makes it so much easier to pipe florals without straining your hand or wrist. I can even pipe some of these one-handed. Even though the icing looks thick, the added air keeps it soft and light while still drying beautifully. And because my recipe contains corn syrup, the final bite stays softer too. Think more meringue texture instead of rock hard icing. One of my favorite techniques for florals 🌸 Comment RECIPE if you want my royal icing recipe
