Cookie has always been a soft cloud. She grew up paying close attention to the world and, more specifically, to the human body. Having become a mother recently has caused her awareness of body development to grow, and she finds herself fully dedicated to and fascinated by witnessing and supporting her baby at all the stages he goes through.
After completing her degree in Sports Science, she found a sense of identity in teaching physical education to children, with the desire to help them understand and explore their own bodies. Discovering her love for dance in 2010 and joining the Orchidaceae collective in 2012, she began her personal movement research and has continued to grow through encounters with the teachers, dancers, and performers she has met along the way.
She is a contemporary dance and floorwork teacher, and her love for contact improvisation led her to Contakids, which she teaches to both parents and children. Her movement research focuses on the dialogue between Capoeira and House Dance, two strong languages influencing her artistic path. Alongside dance, Cookie has also worked as an executive producer on several artistic projects.
Cookie will lead two workshops at the festival: one solo and another with Kenzi! 💛

Cookie od zawsze była jak miękka chmura. Dorastała, uważnie obserwując świat, a szczególnie ludzkie ciało. Niedawne doświadczenie macierzyństwa jeszcze bardziej pogłębiło jej wrażliwość na rozwój fizyczny – dziś z pełnym zaangażowaniem i fascynacją towarzyszy swojemu dziecku na każdym etapie jego rozwoju.
Po ukończeniu studiów z zakresu nauk o sporcie odnalazła swoją tożsamość w nauczaniu wychowania fizycznego dzieci, kierując się chęcią pomagania im w odkrywaniu i rozumieniu własnego ciała. W 2010 roku odkryła pasję do tańca, a dwa lata później dołączyła do kolektywu Orchidaceae. To wtedy rozpoczęła swoje osobiste badania nad ruchem, które do dziś rozwija dzięki spotkaniom z nauczycielami, tancerzami i performerami napotkanymi na swojej drodze.
