She sits there… draped in royal purple, holding grace in her arms. Not just grace.an elephant. Gentle. Mighty. Wise. Like her. They say an elephant never forgets… And neither do we. We remember our mothers, not just in photos, not just in memories, but in the weight of promises we never got to fulfill. This isn’t just a painting. It’s a prayer. For every child who said, ‘Mama, I’ll take care of you someday… but someday never came. She raised you with nothing, gave you everything, and all you wanted was to give her the world back in return.” But she left too soon. Too soon to see the house you planned to buy her, the dress you dreamed she’d wear, the life you wanted her to finally rest in. And now we carry her… like the elephant carries memory— on our backs, in our hearts, in our tears. To those who have lost their mothers You are not alone. This piece… is for you. May we walk forward, not in sorrow, but in honor. Carrying their love and living their lessons. [email protected] #artistsoninstagram #art #explorepage

TITLE: US In a world that often misunderstands gentleness, this piece is my reminder: Strength can be soft. Holiness can look like us. Leadership can carry love, not just power. With cracked earth skin, an afro halo, and a lamb that trusts him he’s not just a symbol. He’s a story. He’s us. Title: Adam Medium: Colored Pencil on Paper Artist: CookeyGam Adam marks the beginning of my journey with color the first time I walk into storytelling using colored pencil as my language. I name this piece Adam not just to reference the first man in the Bible, but to reflect my own creative beginning my first fully imagined figure, my first symbolic act of creation. I base the figure’s presence on the San people of Southern Africa known as some of the world’s earliest humans. Through research into their history, appearance, and legacy, I choose to ground my first creation in their image, acknowledging Africa as the birthplace of humanity. The figure wears a British-style garment, deliberately. It speaks to colonization how Africa, while ancient and original, was reshaped and redressed by foreign powers. This clash between origin and oppression sits at the heart of the work. Adam carries a threefold message: — A beginning, like Adam in Genesis. — A tribute to Africa’s ancestral root through the San people. — And a quiet confrontation of colonization and cultural identity. this is the beginning of my color story, the first voice in a body of work that reclaims and reimagines what we’ve always been. #pencilshotz #art #africa #southafrica

My experience at @purivillecompany was a gentle reminder that fragrance is more than scent its atmosphere, memory, and emotion. From the moment I stepped in, everything felt intentional. This wasn’t just about candles burning; it was about creating a feeling that quietly fills the room. Each fragrance unfolded beautifully, never overpowering, just soft, warm, and grounding. The candles carried a sense of calm luxury the kind that doesn’t need to announce itself. It made me appreciate how scent can transform a space and your state of mind at the same time. By the end of the experience, I found myself wanting a candle not just to light a room, but to hold onto that feeling @purivillecompany purivillecompany creates so effortlessly. It was thoughtful, refined, and truly inspiring. #LuxuryCandles #ScentedCandles #HomeFragrance #CandleLovers #MoodSetting

Life is like a camera: you focus on what’s important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives, and if things don’t work out, just take another shot! 📸😎 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Outfit:@newtrybe.ng

Sometimes, it’s not about the face we show, but the moments we capture and the feelings they evoke.✌🏾

This is the first from the series FAMILIAR FACES titled “SERENITY “ This piece was inspired by the song in your hands by @hallebailey it took exactly 192 hours to complete. The hands in the drawing serve not only as a frame for the subject, but also as a symbol of the struggles and support we all experience throughout our lives. They represent the ups and downs, the joys and sorrows, the triumphs and challenges that we face as we navigate the complexities of the human experience. In times of hardship, the hands offer a comforting embrace, a reminder that we are never alone in our struggles. In times of joy, they hold each other in celebration, a testament to the power of shared happiness. Moreover, the statue serves as a reminder that just as stone can weather the elements and stand the test of time, so too can the human spirit endure and thrive in the face of difficulties. .
