After a half-year hiatus, Controller Club returns on Feb 19th with a classic community meet up, just like old times
Hosting us will be
@semanticscafeyyc , located in downtown! The event will run from 6:30PM-9:00PM
At this comeback event, there will be one main open deck, where you can bring your own USB (formatted to Rekordbox) to practice
Also, four mentors from different parts of the YYC scene, will be ready to connect and hit the decks with you. Like before, if you’re just hoping to hang out and feel the vibes, you’re also welcome
Staff from Semantics will be there to support us! Make sure to grab a coffee or a snack to support them back!
For newcomers: Controller Club is a community hub for all things DJing. Started by Liam O’neill in 2021, it has become a buzzing hang-out spot for DJs whether baby or pro. Not only that, it has attracted pillars of the local scene, fans, groupies, and more. Expanded to include live streams and workshops in 2024, CC has earned it’s reputation as a great opportunity for creatives to learn and showcase their taste and pursue their passions
Experience of DJing is not required for attendees, CC is open to everyone. It is free to attend
