It feels a little surreal writing this, because what a journey it’s been.
Five years ago today, in the middle of a pandemic, Continuous was officially born. In reality though, the passion for photographing spaces and places started long before that… this just gave it a name and a direction.
I remember asking myself: “What’s one word that represents the refusal to ever stop, in effort, in passion and in growth?”
Continuous.
What began as a small step, working with a handful of local agents, slowly evolved into something much bigger than we could’ve ever imagined. Over time, it’s become our craft, our creative outlet, and our way in which we showcase our vision for the built environment.
As we celebrate 5 years today, we wanted to look back at 5 projects that mark special moments along the way (in no particular order).
1. Project Shortland. A home that resonates deeply with our personal design interests. Photographing this home for Mustapha (
@syd.engineers ) and Adam (
@akaiformworkgroup_ ) was a real privilege, and one that we will never forget.
2. Project Noble. That pool, how could you ignore. It quickly became one of our most loved projects, and a testament to the incredible work by Alex & John
@mirage_developments
3. Chatswood Golf Club. A milestone commercial project and one that will stay with us forever. We’re so grateful to
@marchesepartners for trusting us with such a significant development.
4. Project Willarong. A passion project through and through, an afternoon spent moving pieces, chasing light, and embracing the stormy summer mood.
5. Project Cameron. A large scale shoot that brought together editorial styling, florals (
@by_lucinda_dryden ), talent, and video (
@ambientmedia.australia ). A collaborative project that reminded us how powerful a great team can be.
Five years in, and what we’re most grateful for isn’t just the projects; it’s the people, the trust, and the opportunities to keep learning and growing.
Thank you to everyone who’s been part of the story so far.
