One of the many highlights of this yearās National Continence Health Conference was hearing from Dr Linda Brubaker.
So many thoughtful insights, honest conversations and important reminders about the impact better continence care and awareness can have on peopleās everyday lives.

Continence Health Australia is proud to announce the Carer of the Year Award 2026.
This award acknowledges the important - but often overlooked - role of the 3 million at-home carers across Australia. Many of these carers are responsible for the complex role of providing bladder and bowel care.
Congratulations to Muoy Kucan, Carer of the Year 2026!
For over 20 years, Muoy has been the primary carer for her family, who all experience a range of complex medical needs, yet never presented herself as burdened. Her challenges have been relentless, but her response to them is nothing short of remarkable.

Today is International Nurses Day and we want to recognise and thank all nurses for the care, support and compassion they provide every day.
At Continence Health Australia, we see the impact nurses make through our National Continence Helpline (1800 33 00 66), a free and confidential service available to everyone in Australia. Our nurses provide trusted advice, guidance and reassurance to people navigating bladder and bowel health concerns, often during vulnerable moments in their lives.
Thank you to all nurses, and especially our Helpline nurses for the important work you do every day.
