Hey we saw Bedlam's "Othello" yesterday and it was brilliant. It was devastating - pack the tissues and have a few xanax on hand - you will need them! Both the NYT and WSJ gave it rave reviews, and I agree with them !

We often treat complex language as a barrier. For kids, it’s just a game. When young people step into the Container Globe, they don't see Shakespearean English as a hurdle—they see it as a secret language. This is why the right space matters; it turns "high art" into a level playing field. Watch the full episode. Link in bio.
Your environment shapes your perspective, but your influences shape your path. Growing up in a quiet coastal town in New Zealand meant a slow pace of life—until the sound of The Clash blew the doors wide open. This was the moment that proved culture isn't where you are, but what you choose to listen to. Watch the full episode. Link in bio.

Art isn’t meant to be "fancy pants" or perfect. It’s meant to be a place where you can try things out—and fail. Angus went from the traditional roots of Shakespeare in England to building something entirely different with the Container Globe Project. This conversation is about democratization, technology, and why you have to be willing to fail to build something that actually matters. Episode is live.

The amazing Master Builder - Peter McCurdy - who built the London Globe, built this working mock up of the galleries at the Sam Wanamaker playhouse that's next to The Globe. It's really amazing how close his classic galleries are to the seating gallery containers at the Container Globe ! I promise we didn't steal it !!
Loving the Folger Shakespeare Library - showing two of the First Folios (the first collection of Shakespeare’s plays published in 1623) where people have just scribbled stuff in the margins! It's almost blasphemous - but also fantastic -- as these books are absolute treasures!!
Every Xmas tree needs an OG (ie the old school) 1599 Globe model - AND - Jasper the cat to be supercurious as to what the heck it is ... is it edible? Can he snooze on it? Any cat treats inside ?
Hey watch PBS tonight to see this show about Shakespeare’s portrait. It's so interesting that there are so many different visions of the Big Guy! Big forehead brainiac, or soft gauzy romance novel cover type of pic.
A great sky about Iyla Stebbins @iystebbs and her team from Wayne State - and their brilliant reading of "Laertes is Dead Too". Can't wait to welcome them back to the Globe !
The great Jack Huffman @walking_with_jack providing an indication of the wind direction with his Mohawk at the Slight Return show at the Globe on Saturday !! @slightreturnusa
