After considerable procrastination, my first, and quite possibly last, bike camping zine is finished.
This 5.5” x 8.5” zine weighs in at 52 pages, recounting our most brain dead dirt naps from 2019 thru 2022.
In a way some have described as “overwhelming,” each night in the dirt has been accounted for and every drop of sweat detailed.
If your internet-addled attention span can withstand the visual onslaught of photos, it might melt down at the word count. In my usual style, there’s way too much crammed into way too little space, but it will come in handy on that rare day you have to wait for your dead phone to recharge.
@rimbeater.tubeeater and @dtrembold helped me out with words, art, and photos. So you know at least those parts are good.
If we’ve shared in pedal-assisted suffering on the way to a dirt nap, I’ve got a copy waiting for you.
Outside of that, I have a few copies leftover for anyone who wants a look into the brain deficient process of loading up a bicycle with camping gear to go sleep on the ground far from the comforts of home.

This is a video for a zine. @occasionzine issue III to be exact. What is a zine you may ask? Well, it’s like a magazine but shittier (read: indie)and even more niche than anyone ever asked for. But here I am, a long with a few other lost causes, pumping out another zine for BMX nerds like it’s 2005 again, and damn is it still sick.
Issue III clocks in at thirty-eight pages and includes an interview of sorts with Ben Linschoten, a look at the Down By crew’s hard work in the woods, and beer-goggles peak at the north Denver boys’ “Call Somebody” DVD premier.

Heavy use of the run-and-gun one-light setup in the first few days of 2026. Here’s Ben adding to the stack of photos we’ve gotten in just the last couple of months. This one is from Jan 1, 2026 at a spot I found on my commute home from work.
This shot ended up looking shakey at full size and no amount of unsharp mask was going to bring it back. Perfect for little screens though.

JUST ENOUGH x Magwheel Guy
Clint sightings are pretty rare so seeing this clip pop up in the video was a real treat. It also reminded me that I shot a photo when this historical event occurred back in May 2020.

Derek tackled some monstrous setups for his part in Just Enough and I was lucky enough to be around to document a few of them. This has to be one of the sickest 60/40 setups around and Dman did it justice. Big shout out to @dustinarp for making a guy feel special by putting this photo on the DVD cover and making a run of shirts.
The vid is stacked from start to finish. You’d be wise to get your hands on one and watch Ben, Alex, Kid, Sam, Derek, and Adrian lay waste to spots.
