There was a season where the road wrote all our songs. Every mile, every show, every late night somewhere between cities⌠thatâs where the lyrics came from. And we loved it. But somewhere along the wayâafter what feels like a lifetime out there, and walking through one of the hardest seasons our familyâs ever facedâwe realized how much had been building up inside of us. I think itâs safe to say there are 3 main parts to what we do by and large⌠songwriting ⢠âperformingâ/singing ⢠and preaching.
We take each one seriously and try to stay students of all 3. Honestly, blending those layers together is one of our favorite parts of making music.
When weâre writing songs that we wanna have fun singing LIVE, we also try to dig deep into scripture and phrase things in ways you may not expect at first listen. So if you ever hear one of our lyrics and think, âwhat in the world does that mean?â đ âŚjust know thereâs usually a whole lotta Bible underneath it.
