Thank you to StationMD and @themakeuponwheelsfoundation for sponsoring a brand new @riftonequipment stander added to our M.O.V.E. Program at our Staten Island Cora Hoffman Center!
CPUās M.O.V.E program helps adults who use wheelchairs improve their circulation, strengthen bones, support digestion, alleviate discomforts from inactivity, and much more.
In addition to the physical benefits, the psychological impact of standing cannot be overstated. Confidence and self-esteem improve when people can interact with the world from a standing position.
To learn more about M.O.V.E., or how to get involved, visit our website at cpunlimited.org
Thank you StationMD š

A huge thank you to CP Unlimited and the āOn the Moveā grant for purchasing the gait trainer. We also want to extend another huge thank you to everyone who donated to our āOn Your Feetā fundraiser. The donated proceeds went toward accessories for the gait trainer, including the leg separator, hip guides, anti-tippers, and more.
This was an amazing collaboration with the community, and we are extremely grateful and happy that our athletes now have the opportunity to benefit from this equipment and GET ON THEIR FEET!
We celebrate National Nurses Week with gratitude for the 100+ Nurses, RNs, LPNs, Nursing Supervisors, Medical Coordinators, and others who made CP Unlimited their home.
Their extraordinary compassion and deep expertise are matched by their commitment to promoting dignity and independence for people with disabilities.
As the Agency brings its proficiency to new markets and cohorts in the five boroughs and Hudson Valley, our nursing professionals stand ready to serve and administer top-level support to all who benefit from our programs.
On CPUās 80th year of service, there is no doubt that the success and longevity of our organization is due in part to their skilled efforts. Whether through direct action, advocacy, or education, our nurses are making an impact in our entire community and carrying forth our mission with care.
From everyone at CP Unlimited: thank you for your compassion, professionalism, and unwavering service. You inspire us all.
