Construction Kaiser Limited (CKL) hosted a distinguished cocktail reception following its recent leadership transition, bringing together clients, partners, stakeholders, and friends of the company for an evening of reflection, connection, and forward-looking conversations.
The event featured the formal introduction of CKL’s new CEO and Executive Director, Stefan Euchenhofer, alongside new Board members joining the company’s leadership journey, hosted at one of CKL’s landmark projects, The John Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History.
It was also a moment to honour the remarkable legacy of Engr. Igbuan Okaisabor, whose 32 years of leadership helped shape CKL’s reputation for quality, excellence, and impact across the construction industry.
As Construction Kaiser Limited steps into this new chapter, one thing remains constant: a commitment to delivering excellence, building strong relationships, and creating lasting impact.

You do not have to choose between speed and safety.
The assumption that you must sacrifice one for the other is flawed.
Speed without safety leads to mistakes, rework, and risk. However, being overly cautious without efficiency slows progress and affects deadlines.
The real goal is to build systems where work flows efficiently, while remaining controlled, intentional, and safe.
Creating this balance is what drives sustainable performance and lasting results in construction.
Let’s continue to prioritize both.

CKL Announces Leadership Transition to Strengthen Governance and Drive Next Phase of Growth.
Construction Kaiser Limited (CKL) is pleased to announce a strategic transition in its leadership and Board as part of its continued commitment to strong governance, continuity, and sustainable growth.
This milestone builds on the leadership transition announced in 2025, which saw the appointment of our Chief Executive Officer, Stefan Euchenhofer, effective January 2026. This reflects a deliberate and forward-looking succession plan designed to position CKL for long term success.
Following over three decades of visionary leadership, our Founder, Igbuan Okaisabor, has transitioned to the role of Chairman of the Board, where he will continue to provide strategic direction and oversight.
As part of this evolution, four Board members, Ayuli Jemide, Jamila Faniyi, Ademola Ogundipe and Sam Etomi, have completed their tenure. We thank them for their valuable contributions to CKL’s growth and governance.
The Board now comprises the Chairman, Igbuan Okaisabor; the Chief Executive Officer, Stefan Euchenhofer; and Non-Executive Directors Detlev Lubasch, Aidevo Okaisabor, Thessa Bagu, Yemisi Busari, and Abiola Adeniran, bringing together diverse expertise to support CKL’s next phase of growth.

Do you know Quality can be properly maintained through self-auditing?
Self-audit is a conscious step to confirm that what you have done meets the required standard.
On construction sites, many quality issues come from oversight, assumptions, or rushing through tasks. Self-auditing helps you pause and take responsibility for your output.
Make self-audit a habit in your daily tasks.
Let quality start with you.

In many workplaces, especially in construction, people tend to bypass procedures due to the perceived ease of doing so in the moment:
“I’ll just do it quickly.”
But global data tells a different story.
According to the International Labour Organization, millions of workers lose their lives every year due to work-related accidents and diseases, with hundreds of millions more suffering non-fatal injuries. A significant number of these incidents are linked to unsafe practices and failure to follow established procedures.
Research across industries also shows that human behavior, including shortcuts and non-compliance, is one of the leading causes of workplace accidents worldwide.
So what feels like a “faster way” often becomes the most expensive mistake: Procedures are not there to slow you down, they are built from real failures, real incidents, and real lessons learned the hard way.
The most effective teams are not the fastest. They are the ones who are consistent enough to follow the process every time.

This initiative was a well-thought-out effort to foster openness, encourage meaningful conversations, and strengthen trust and connection between leadership and staff.
