Vicky’s story is one of strength and transformation. 💪
After facing homelessness, abuse, incarceration, and struggles with depression and PTSD, Vicky worked to build a better future for herself and her four children while relying on Ontario Works.
Through Construct, she gained hands-on training and certifications at LiUNA Local 506, along with essential supports like transportation, groceries, and psychotherapy. 🚧👷
Today, Vicky is a first-year apprentice with the Carpenters’ Union, working full-time in a stable, well-paying career and proudly supporting her family. 💙
