Schmelzpunkt "light" presents: @construct.obi // Meet her at the Galerie und Pop-Up area // 2025 Paula Oberndorfer is born in 1996 in Vienna, Austria.  i create objects, to capture the moment between falling and holding, creating a tension, that is questioning if one is getting ripped apart. i am capturing a moment of uncertainty, questioning durability and stagnation. industrial shapes are feigning utiliy, while the materiality negates it. i lived in Austria, UK, Estonia and China. in each country I go, i am interested in the local, site-specific language of ornament. support systems function as a frame for objects. positioning the mounting system into the focal point of an artwork, is my way of critisizing the politics of space and institution. me armastamee eestit 🖤💙🤍 VAATA SA VAATAMA PEAD — LOOK, YOU HAVE TO LOOK ! 2023, ceramic, steel @copperlegartresidency (59.3568704, 24.9544918) ~~~~~~~~~after 2-3 years, the sculpture keeps aging. still straight as a pole; rust is giving color to the nuances of steel. the ceramic glaze is reflecting brown , blue, finally the withering is blending with the unwithering glaze• ~~~~~ i have revisited this sculpture 2024 in Winter, at nightfall, at -20°C this time warmer, it started pouring as we were approaching. in the hazy weather, i keep having trouble to find it in the wide field. its blending visually into landscape, and suddenly it appears erect , meeting oneself at 90° angle from soil ~~~I am pleased •• 📸 @stainedfingerscollective ~~~|#keramik #pottery #ceramicart #sculpturepark #estonia #installationart #landart #landartist #suspensión
