SPRING AWAKENING is our fourth production together. ✨
In @katerynasokolovadirector 's production of Turandot, we view the story through the inner perspective of the title figure, who explores her feelings via the personas of several women from mythology and history, including Queen Elizabeth 1. @constanzadesigns created this design quoting historical portraiture of Elizabeth, and the costume and make-up departments understood the assignment! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 It took many hands MANY hours to create this look, and it takes three people — a make-up artist and two dressers — to get me in and out of it for each performance. Not to mention the work they do in between performances to have the costume and wig performance-ready. It's one of the most amazing looks I have had the pleasure of wearing onstage. 😍🙏🏼👑
