A sneak peek at Sunday's recording/video project amongst the painted panels of the bijoux Clunes Town Hall. Using viols that are scaled copies of a locally-owned original mid-17th century consort bass by William Turner, all made by Melbourne luthier Ian Watchorn, Consortium recorded works by Tomkins and Purcell, plus some lyra viol duos. What a treat to play such beautifully matched instruments, thanks Ian!

Heading home after a beautiful few days with @consortiumviols
Thank you so much to @ladamarc and Phillip for their next-level hosting in beautiful Narooma. They even managed to organise an entire live zoo of donkeys, an octopus, stingrays, consort-adoring frogs and too many seals to count.
We are so lucky to have an excuse to play this beautiful program of Locke, Purcell, Frecobaldi and more (including our beloved Brooke Green!) with audiences in Wolumla and Bodalla.
