In terms of organizations that seek to improve workplace culture through visibility, critical conversation, and collaboration that braids governmental agencies, community-based organizations and private enterprise, Consortium Collective NYC has exemplified a new kind of Affinity Group in New York City.
Over the last two years, Consortium Collective NYC has become a true hub for Black and Brown professionals in City government and beyond. Hosting a range of events, from panel discussions at colleges, happy hours and networking events, to monthly discussions with leaders from all over the nation, the collective has embodied the tenants of inclusion and diversity engendered by the City of New York.
As the collective grows, we hope to continue advocating for activities, policies, essential resources necessary for the benefit of all New Yorkers.
