I’ve never been skydiving but I imagine it’s like this. You consider being a mom and the whole world tells you you are crazy. You find out your pregnant and the countdown is brutal. Every day you are thinking what the heck did I sign up for. Then it’s jump day.
And you have to pretend you know what you are doing while your heart fills your throat. It’s no turning back the door is open and you just JUMP.
Interestingly enough the second you do the fear is gone. It’s the most exhilarating feeling. You can’t believe you are doing this!!!!!! Even though the jump is short and before you know it they are growing up on you. I’m loving every part of this fall.
Motherhood is single-handedly the most beautiful experience and every day I’m grateful for the kid that calls me mom. I wish I could say I know what I’m doing. But what I do know is there isn’t a job on Earth that will get more hours than what I log in this space.

I’ve been wanting to say this for a while.
I’m not 100% out of the clear yet.
But I’m finally far enough away from survival mode to see the possibilities again.
And that alone feels like a blessing.
One thing I need people to understand is just because a business is still posting doesn’t mean it’s succeeding.
Just because an entrepreneur is still showing up doesn’t mean they aren’t quietly fighting to keep the doors open.
I watched so many businesses close these last few years.
People disappear.
Dreams shift.
Life hits hard.
And truthfully… some of the hits we take as entrepreneurs are hard to recover from.
But every single day I’m grateful I’m still here.
Still creating.
Still building.
Still believing enough to try again tomorrow.
Hallelujah.
It’s DAY 6!!! Now besides my voice struggling to make a comeback 😅 I have officially sent off my pitch to ODYS. Yes I’m sweating 😅! Days 5-10 are hands down going to be the hardest because this is the part every one hates. THE QUIET ZONE! When you are pitching you get to the 5th pitch and somewhere between that one and your 10th your brain does something. It PANICS. It no longer believes in what you created and it starts to poke holes in the plan. You start feeling like it’s not working because NO ONE has responded yet. Most people stop here and it’s over. They assume “this just doesn’t work for me” and unfortunately that very thought makes them right. They give up and it won’t.
Here’s where I’m deciding to lock tf in! I’m turning my nerves into content and showing you that if we are going to go for it we can go BIG. Ask for the UNBELIEVABLE things. Double down and prove to your brain we are not only capable of getting a yes we can get the biggest one there is.
