Using my once every 6 month Insta post to celebrate the @bbnomula album release because it was where most of my time was spent for the past half year. Super proud of Alex, this project and everyone involved. In Bend, Oregon exists the final Blockbuster Video on earth. There were a few left in Australia until recently but they are now closed. We decided to explore this time capsule and give the people what they want: a photo essay of a piece of recent history. The blockbuster experience has not much changed, although this one has merch and a proud self-awareness that it is the last. We did not rent any DVDs or purchase any snacks but I could envision my dad arguing with the clerk about late fees or my friends deciding which horror movie to choose. May you stand strong final blockbuster.
