Roll up roll up 🎪
AI is at its best when used as a tool and not the whole solution. This image has taken me the best part of 2 days from concept to export, trying 50+ variations of backplates and comping in about 30 layers in photoshop to achieve the final result.
I think I like it, but I’m not sure.
What’s real and what’s AI? Will it matter in a few years? I doubt it will even be asked. AI will touch every aspect of this industry and nobody I speak to is ready.
This is the final shot in an experimental series of images exploring how AI can be used in commercial storytelling.

The second image in an explorative series, combining photography, AI tools, and Photoshop, to imagine the future of brand storytelling.
In this one, the Smokiverse takes over the @ardbeg distillery, the buildings being stretched by the gravitational pull of the bottle. Shortie the dog gets taken along for the ride, as everything is pulled into the green vortex.
Images like this aren’t new, but the methods are. And they’ll keep becoming easier, faster, and cheaper to produce.
