Last week a dream came true we splashed the boat!!! 🛥️✨
After 1 year, 2 months, and 11 days (but who’s counting), and a whole lot of hard work from so many amazing people, this day felt incredibly special and nerve-wracking 😂🙈
I dove into this project with passion and some ding repair skills… but zero knowledge of boat building. Anddd I got in over my head! Thankfully, I got to work alongside seriously talented people who were willing to teach and push me the whole way.
There are so many people to thank
⚡️
@jeffhullfiberglass , family, and crew for tackling this project with me and sharing so much knowledge. I love being around passionate people, and Jeff and the boys put in some very late nights to hit milestones.
❤️
@sierraannlove for going way above and beyond!!. Putting up with my 5 am mornings,10 o clock nights, throwing a tyvek on to sand, glass, and clean up 4000 glue with me all while raising our son… 🙌🏾❤️
🔨
@westswellboatworks for giving me a one-on-one masterclass in fiberglass work, crushing the building portion with me, and lots of good stories.
All of the friends and family who came to help sand when I was buried in months of sanding, weld special little pieces, help rig, and help document the project ❤️❤️
@andersoncustomboatworks for helping us with the v drive engineering!
@tntfab1 for the fabricating !
Sometimes it takes a village, and I couldn’t be more grateful for ours.
