Last week a dream came true we splashed the boat!!! 🛥️✨
After 1 year, 2 months, and 11 days (but who’s counting), and a whole lot of hard work from so many amazing people, this day felt incredibly special and nerve-wracking 😂🙈 I dove into this project with passion and some ding repair skills… but zero knowledge of boat building. Anddd I got in over my head! Thankfully, I got to work alongside seriously talented people who were willing to teach and push me the whole way. There are so many people to thank
⚡️ @jeffhullfiberglass , family, and crew for tackling this project with me and sharing so much knowledge. I love being around passionate people, and Jeff and the boys put in some very late nights to hit milestones. 
❤️ @sierraannlove for going way above and beyond!!. Putting up with my 5 am mornings,10 o clock nights, throwing a tyvek on to sand, glass, and clean up 4000 glue with me all while raising our son… 🙌🏾❤️
🔨 @westswellboatworks for giving me a one-on-one masterclass in fiberglass work, crushing the building portion with me, and lots of good stories. All of the friends and family who came to help sand when I was buried in months of sanding, weld special little pieces, help rig, and help document the project ❤️❤️ @andersoncustomboatworks for helping us with the v drive engineering! @tntfab1 for the fabricating ! Some days of surfing are etched into my memory and I can recall them like they were yesterday. This day at Rincon started slow but picked up quick. I was down there early and it was a typical hyped swell scene that wasn’t quite delivering yet. Both parking lots full. Come mid morning, the wind laid down, the crowd seemed to thin out, and every set was bigger than the previous. It came up almost like a Hawaii swell and had more power than most other solid days at the con that I could recall. Rincon gets a bit fat when it gets bigger but this day had some pretty special, tall, steep walls, and I was lucky to nab a few. Grateful to spend the last week of 2023 surfing the wave that shaped me as a surfer and the community around it that helped shaped me as a person. This is from the big thursday. One of the biggest and cleanest days I’ve surfed. It was packed in the morning but as the swell pulsed it cleared out. Every day’s Mother’s Day !!!! Forever grateful for the amazing mama’s in our family and all that they do for us. It’s been so cool to see @sierraannlove become such a great mom. Couldn’t be a luckier guy!

We had fun cruising around Bells Beach for the first time with Archie. So many good memories from the stairs there over the years jt was special to get to come back, catch up with friends, and enjoy the Bells mana. They also build some seriout high speed slides around there 😂😂 The waves were flat, but hopefully some day we’ll get back for some waves. Fun first leg of our oz trip!

Taking it back to “slipping” out of town for the best surf I’ve ever seen! A magical session at outside ledge cloudbreak with an epic crew. We used some of the footy in our Snapt 5 parts and the rest of mine is in the new salty crew film “coastlines”!!

Epic day for a film premiere! Cruise down to the harbor from 6-10 to check out the new @salty_crew film “coastlines” about a really special trip down south fishing with the @loslocosfishing crew as well as some surfing and fishing from a few other trips!

Wifey cam (@sierraannlove ) nailing the Archie clips and getting a couple spring time wiggles of me. With the water being warm already it’s been epic hanging at the beach with the little man and being able to ride a few waves too!
