I launched a melodica keyboard Newsletter today. It's called "Reed My Lips". Part keyboard music learning resource and part journal it'll track my adventures teaching and playing melodica keyboards.
The first installment has downloadable music notation and a demo of folk tune "The South Wind" which I've posted on Soundslice.
If you haven't used Soundslice before it lets you sync sheet music with audio/video. The player lets you loop difficult sections, and slow down the tempo without losing pitch. It makes practising so much easier than just staring at a static PDF.

What a masterclass in jazz improvisation at the Market Place Theatre Armagh tonight! 🤯 @david_lyttle brought together an unbelievable line-up: the legendary trumpeter @terellstafford the phenomenal guitarist @andreasvarady and the brilliant @neilolochlainn on bass.
The energy and chemistry on stage was infectious. Pure jazz magic!

What an atmosphere at Dock Street Jazz Club @theamericanbarsailortown Sailortown tonight. This evening's gig showcased musicians from @david_lyttle 's Next Generation Sounds. The first set featured Harpist Annie Diamond who treated us to some great improvisation in a set that included spiritual Jazz from Alice Coltrane taking us on a Journey to Satchidananda. The second set featured Mateo Moore on trumpet, a thoughtful improvisor who held us spellbound, especially during Yusef Lateef's Morning. I even found myself unofficial sound engineer for the gig which kept me on my toes. If you've not checked it out, get your skates on, @willvinsonmusic is playing there Sunday 12th October.
