Last night, @conisbee_uk Hot House was transformed into a gallery as we hosted the 2025 Funisbee Winter Exhibition - a creative and entertaining social evening celebrating imagination, art, and team collaboration.
This year’s theme focused on Wellbeing and Recycling, and the judges had a tough job choosing from some exceptionally strong entries. Congratulations to our winners:
Best in Show - Norwich Castle — an imaginative recreation in chocolate and sponge (both integral to wellbeing) sitting proudly atop a recycled mound.
Second Place - “GGBS Cement Mixer of Recycled Mindfulness and Wellness” - a superbly executed, highly entertaining, and sustainable piece.
Third Place - a fully sustainable Advent Calendar, crafted using re-used loo-roll cardboard and filled with chocolates (which we hope will be shared around the office throughout December…)
Honourable Mentions:
A re-work of an original painting enhanced with intricate, hand-painted SuDS elements.
A brilliantly original concept created from teams’ lunchtime walking tours, collating images of their projects

We’ve just wrapped up an exciting project with @stageserviceslondonltd at #manorplace, a former Victorian swimming pool and wash house (Grade II listed) now repurposed as a community space.
Stage Services brought us in to design the structural deck, including steelwork, timber decking, and foundations for the supporting columns. The deck has a dual role — part of the skatepark when lowered and the roof of the underground football cage when raised.
A solid collaboration with the Stage Services team, and it’s rewarding to see this historic building brought back into use for culture, retail, and creative studios.

Yesterday’s Hidden London Tour of TFL’s disused underground tunnels at Charing Cross Station did not disappoint!
We got to see areas of the station closed to the public for over 25 years and explore complex network of tunnels, fascinating history of their construction and incredible engineering…

The September sun was shining as we spent the day exploring this beautiful city — and of course, no trip to Cambridge would be complete without punting on the River Cam (with a few spectacular falls into the river!)
