Around 20 folks joined us for The Wovenness of Things, a brilliant session on weaving in the Jewish tradition and chance to actually make something beautiful.
Our 6-8th graders completed their unit on Jewish theology at Hebrew School today! This last session was on different Jewish thinkersā conceptions of God ā and how their ideas inform our own personal theologies. Students debated, read, wrote⦠and enjoyed eachother. š«
āļø mazel tov to Rabbi Zelkha, her husband Jesse, and her son Akiva on his upsherin! We gathered for a sweet ritual to mark his first haircut, on Lag BāOmer š„! And the littlest ones got to learn the Hebrew aleph-bet, a tradition once children turn 3 and become learners of Torah. ā¤ļø
