Everything has a season, and every season has an end. It is with full but heavy hearts that we announce The Concourse will be closing in mid-August. This decision was not made lightly, but we feel it is time to close this chapter. It has been a great honor to exist in this community as long as we have, providing an open and safe space for everyone to come make memories and be their truest selves. We want to thank all of our loyal patrons, staff, local artists, touring artists, and promoters for all of the support over the years. We consider it a privilege to have provided so many of you with core memories, and hope you all cherish those as we do ours. This has truly been a labor of love; so many of us here have been able to live out our passion and realize our dreams working in this industry.
We will be making announcements for our final shows in the coming weeks. Temple and First Bass will continue at other spaces in town after we close so stay tuned for those announcements as well! We hope you all will spend the next 2 months celebrating this space and our community with us as we bid farewell to this incredible journey. It’s been a rollercoaster, but we wouldn’t change it for the world. Thank you, from the very depths of our hearts.
