The Skyline teaser got everyone talking, but the real detail for the US is that this car is still expected to arrive here as the Q50, not the Skyline. Infiniti leadership has also hinted at a manual and a high-horsepower setup, which is why a lot of people are already connecting the dots to the Z’s VR30 powerplant. That’s what makes this one worth watching. We took our @garrettmotion powered RZ34 out to @slushmotorsports and had to get in a few roll racing passes. While we weren’t out to chase a headline number, we did want to get a better feel of the turbo kit since we had the space to really open it up. It was also @daxzy_s13 first time taking a car down the drag strip, and let’s just say, there is no better way to learn than in a 740whp RZ34. More details on that later. But thats what makes events like @slushmotorsports so awesome. You don’t have to be a professional driver or have everything figured out to go out there and just enjoy your car.
