SUBTEC: Techno de Buenos Aires — Vol. 1
A first ride through the underground worlds of Buenos Aires techno.
Rooted in the city’s subway imaginary and shaped through a contemporary techno lens, SUBTEC connects different artists, crews, labels, sounds and micro-scenes into one shared transit line. Each track works as a station, and each artist opens a door into their own universe.
On the vinyl edition, every track is introduced by a short station announcement: a curtain between stops that signals the next station before the music enters. Interludes, coded signals and transitions turn the record into a physical journey through the system.
Across both sides, the compilation moves through dense hypnosis, dubby pressure, hardgroove energy, rave-driven attitude and vocal-led movement.
Side A goes deeper, serious and hypnotic, with tracks by xXxHxXx, Bruno Ledesma / Ledd and Berger Muzik.
Side B shifts into bouncy, rave-driven and hardgroove territory, with tracks by Nick Benet, AWANTETODO & EHX, Mili Priolo and WØLF.
More than a various artists compilation, SUBTEC Vol. 1 is the first document of a fusion between sub-scenes, sub-level frequencies and dancefloor energy, pressed into a physical object designed to be played, collected and discovered like a ride through the underground.
