The time has finally come to unveil an album I’ve been working on for the last 3 years. There is so much to cover, but essentially I was awarded funding by the Science and Technology Facilities Council to produce an album that would help engage students and the general public in physics.
The topic I chose was talking about the Origin of the Universe. The album lyrics use metaphors about astronomy, cosmology, particle physics to try and tell relatable stories and ideas. I covered, hip hop, drill, jazz, garage, jungle and more to make it a fun, enjoyable music experience.

Thanks also to the scientist too who I was able to talk with at length about extremely deep and mid behind physics. I was lucky to have access to people who work at CERN, NASA , LIGO, fermilab, DUNE, Pratt Institute and Johns Hopkins University: The conversations will be shared online over the coming weeks.

Last couple of months I made the BBC Radio 3 times with my album. BBC London news, BBC London introducing and this @bbcintroducing mixtape.
It's funny because I've never tried to waterdown my content & people always told me educational/conscious rap wouldn't ever get mainstream recognition. So I almost didn't bother to send the tracks in. But I'm glad I did and happy for the support from everyone who listens to the album. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾
I have been quiet, after working on the album for 3 years I'm catching up with life. But have a couple more videos, interviews and clips to put out. And need to organise an album party still. Holla me for bookings too ✌🏾

This album was crazy! Partial Physics rap, in conjunction with CERN! Music Video shot at CMS (as in the detector in the Large Hadron Collider). It even made TV News in multiple countries & Financial Times! Great memories.

Together, we explore his personal network, and we talk about topics, such as the link between emceeing and coding; knowledge and information sharing through Hip Hop, and his experience with the @cern . Nous avons pu réunir deux légendes de Hip Hop international pour un échange avec la scène locale à @lamap.liaisonsurbaines : @con_sensus de Londres et @monk.e_one de Montréal, suivi par la projection du court-métrage de ce dernier: "Retour au Bercail".
Un moment hors du temps, mis en valeur par la recherche musicale historiographique du collecteur @gonzo_selecto qui nous a fait profiter de sélections vinyle d'albums d'ici et d'ailleurs.
Merci à Rémi ainsi qu'à toutes les personnes qui sont venues dont des piliers de la scène locale ainsi que des amateurs de musique et des jeunes de @atelierraparc a.k.a la nouvelle génération.

Was great to catch up with my favourite science rapper, @con_sensus , while he's out at CERN getting inspired for future tracks! His music covers particle physics, cosmology, astrophysics and beyond to teach about science through rap. Always fun to hang out!
A couple weeks ago we were lucky enough to have @teacha_krsone break down some serious hip hop philosophy, live and direct after his London show!

South London rapper @con_sensus is back with a blend of fan-favourite tracks and fresh cuts from his new album Original ConScience.
The project explores the "Origins of the Universe" through hip hop, grime, jungle and more, combining sharp lyricism with standout showmanship.
Inspired by his research with particle physicist, Consensus transforms complex science into rap aimed at students aged 14–18 and curious listeners alike.
The album has already caught the attention of BBC London Radio, BBC Radio 6, and BBC Introducing.
