These four wonderful panelists will be talking all things accessibility, focusing on physical disability, neuro-diversity, chronic illness and living in a post-covid world.
What barriers people might face when entering queer spaces; how to make events more accessible to more people; why accessibility is integral to radical queer movements; how we can prioritise this within the current state of the queer nightlife industry.

💥Em (Comrade May) he/they
He’s strong, he’s sexy but most importantly he’s a socialist. Comrade May is your local communist drag king and the creator and host of NOT THE NEWS FOR YOU. Lover of the political debate and horrible at dinner parties, he’s here to make socialism sexy again.
💥Miggy (XO) they/them
XO is a drag king, thing and poet. They were a finalist in man-up 2023 and since then have been performing in every accessible venue they can find (and some inaccessible ones too)
💥Steffi (Sweet FA) they/she
Huddersfield boy done God. Sweet FA is the answer to the question, what would happen if Alan Bennett did Sister Act? He’s a love letter to Queer Catholics, he’s just a holy fool and he will be your father figure.
they are one of the producers and hosts of sellout fundraising nights Drag Down the Borders and are known throughout the London drag scene for powerfully combining drag and activism and holding radical values at the heart of everything they do.

Is a queer disabled advocate who works alongside Friends of the Joiners Arms developing and delivering access services at events, ensuring inclusivity for Deaf, disabled and neuro-divergent members of the LGBTQ+ community
