From British to Metric to American steel. I made a handful of homemade trophies for the bikes that stick out and excite us vintage nerds. There is even a “best of show award” you get the chance to vote on!!!.

Come down and help us kick off the first year we are hosting the DGR in Buffalo NY! A lot of work was put into this event by a handful of very dedicated volunteers and so far the riders have raised over $11k to help with Men’s mental Health awareness and Prostate Cancer Awareness..
The guys from @triumph_buffalo who were really the driving force behind organizing this event will be there with a number of cool vintage inspired bikes as well!
Been a long winter, but I haven’t gotten shit done on this thing as I was waiting for parts to come back. Last June when I was finishing the bike up the first long start revealed pretty heavy rocker cover oil leak leaks. As you may or may not know you have to pull the heads off to remove the Rocker covers on a Panhead. So at that point seeing how I couldn’t really ride this motorcycle last year because of the whole broken leg thing I tore it apart. When I got the bike, it had a mixed match set of heads on it. It had an early head on the front converted to Oring intake and a later head on the rear. So I went hunting for a nice matching set of 50 heads. Found them… spent a ton of money to get them right. In the meantime I freshened up the cylinders and pistons. Now I’m on the hunt for the elusive FL intake manifold 3 9/16” inch wide. One thing I’ve learned since starting this pan Head project is that everyone seems to think they’re an expert on the topic. I’ve found that the majority of them are not. There’s definitely been a few that have been very helpful though.

I don’t want to scrap this stuff because I know I got a friend who would do something with it. Here’s the deal. Two 3500 pound axles out of my enclosed trailer. I spun a bearing on one wheel on one axle and had to buy idler hub to nurse it home. I replaced everything under the trailer instead of screwing around piecing it together. So what you see here is one good axle with the set of electric brakes and one axle with one good electric brake and a spindle that is slightly burnt up. The damaged axle would work perfectly for your hay wagon around the property your log splitter or anything. The good axle could go on a road worthy trailer and have brakes. All I want is my money back for the two idler hubs. So you get everything in these pictures for 100 bucks. I know somebody needs this and it doesn’t make sense Scrapping it. I’m pretty sure that 50% of the people I know have torches and a welder in the garage. So I’m sure you could find something to do with this stuff.
I figured I’d better put the fixture table together I got last year for Christmas before it got wrapped back up and gifted to me again this year. It’s been a hell of year. I have to admit my motivation has been shot since I went back to work in September. It was a struggle to get back into the swing of things. The first couple months I seriously only had enough energy in me to get through my work day, even at a pace that was nowhere near what I was used to. I’d get home and hit the couch with my legs up.
My shop projects really fell to the wayside… There wasn’t much I could do about it. The mental part of it became worse than the physical. I couldn’t deal with working on something and having it not go 100% right. I was beating myself up about it for a bit. Then I remembered I bought this Panhead while still rolling around in a god damn wheelchair. I spent all last winter rolling around in the shop and building it while I couldn’t do much else. I guess I gotta give myself some grace considering all that.

So here I am. Back in the shop making the conscious decision to become productive again. Setting daily goals and crossing them off the list. The Panhead is sitting there staring at me. The motor is getting a fresh top end, replacing the mismatched heads that were on it. Making more correct. More presentable… as it deserves it. #decidewhattobeandgobeit #fuckthisshit

Men’s size large vintage HD and bike week t shirts. 9 in total all in pretty good shape. Might be a small hole here or there, but that’s what people pay for I guess. $15 bucks and 1 beer each or take the whole lot for $100 and 6 beers. Local for my friends only. Any of my local friends see a manual you’re interested in get at me. Most of these are my duplicates I’ve picked up along the way. Price ranging from $20-$80 depending on model and the shape it’s in. I know a bunch of new shovel head guys are out there. You don’t want to own a shovel head without owning a manual. Believe me…. Same can be said about The FXR manuals. Got a new vest and decided I had to make use of that screw. I mean…. By my math it cost about 50k for that one seeing how it went into the lower ball of my right femur 🦴 then was pulled back out in a second surgery to allow my bone to drop on the titanium rod installed inside that bone. Figured it’s gotta travel with me since it was inside my body and all. 🤷🏼♂️ It will be a good reminder I’m still alive for some odd reason.
