CompoTech has commissioned a bespoke CNC machining centre, the COMAGRAV NOTUS 3000X. 5½-axis capability. Two years in the making, built to our exact specifications with our Czech machine tool partner, COMAGRAV. The main advantage beside the 1,920 × 3,150 mm aluminium table with 9 programmable vacuum zones, a full rotary b-axis for tubular structures up to 2.5 metres. With Renishaw probing for on-machine measurement. Single setup, start to finish. The last 6 months weren’t about launching a new bike. They were about questioning everything we thought we already knew. INTEGRATED LOOP TECHNOLOGY (ILT) With high performance tubes, made in an automated process, we were looking for a similar way to make frame joints. We came up with the Integrated Loop Technology (ILT). Unlike conventional bonding, ILT transfers loads through continuous carbon fiber loops seamlessly built into the tube structure. This integration creates joints that match the performance of our tubes with exceptional strength, fatigue resistance, and long-term reliability. Want to know more?
