What does it mean to release a song in 2026?
Iâm not really sure. For a while, I stepped away from all this DJ/electronic music business and social media stuff â it just didnât feel right anymore.
I also had to recover from some of the things life throws at you, find a new path and take care of my mental health.
Joy and I had been meaning to make this song for a long time⊠and in the end, time helps heal almost everything.
Along the way, I also met Arthur, who supported me through a strange period in my life. He was generous enough to share a bit of his immense talent on this track.
And of course Sacha â my best friend for so many years â dropped by the studio one evening, listened to the song, and laid down this stunning guitar part in a single take.
Magic, family, friendship and alchemy â maybe thatâs what it means to release a song in 2026: something played and sung by human beings for human beings.
âšThanks to Thomas & Michael at Compost for the trust and for pressing it on good ol'WAX and to Hans Philip Graf
@hpmastering for the high-end mastering (cutted at Dubplates & Mastering and pressed at Schallplattenfabrik Pallas). Trust me â this vinyl sounds «Pristine»!
Thank you, Joy, for your magic and the Melodydreamer for the edit.
To all of you, I sincerely hope this track will enter your soul, your mind, and your body, just as it entered mine, and that I poured everything I had at the time deep into it.
And for now, open your eyes, your ears, and your hearts â the old world has shed its skin.
People are suffering, people are fighting, people are loving, people are hoping. Letâs stop being deaf to the sirens and start embracing them.
Thatâs surely where youâll find me.
