I love this community not only because of what it has given me but because I've seen what it has done for lifting up others! I wouldn't consider myself competitive nor have I been consistently training, but I always come back to @waacklanta because it's continually built up my confidence and introduced me to so many wonderful people. Y'all inspire me to keep improving while staying true to myself. Thank you @venus.vinnycakes for creating this home for us to let our individuality shine while keeping us accountable in knowing the history and foundational techniques that allow us this freedom of expression. I've been a choreo girl most of my life and never thought I would get into freestyle. I feared judgement from others, not looking "cool enough", struggling with flexibility/mobility as I've gotten older, and I'm sure at least a thousand other thoughts that stopped me from trying. I know I've got more work to do that only comes with training and time, but thank you to anyone and everyone who took the time to let me know they enjoyed watching me at Love Vol. 2. I will carry all those kind words with me every time I dance. In the words of @demoncar0007 "All of this is family; all of this is love; all of this is music."
