“This is an Adult Tap class!?!” Last night I had a ‘pinch me’ moment about my adult tappers…. The choreography and what I am asking of them is high and I am so unbelievably proud of how they trust me, throw themselves into it and deliver the goods! We are super excited to share the official news that our lovely Isla has successfully auditioned, received a place AND today been told she has a full scholarship to attend the wonderful @the.hammond school, in September full time 🎉🎉🎉 Isla auditioned back in March with the hope of attending there for years 7 - 11 for school and to continue her dance training, as this is what she wants to do as a career. Isla has been with us since she was teeny and although we are truly devastated to not be able to see her and teach her every night, we know this is the best thing for her and we will be right behind her all the way!! Go get em Isla! So so proud of you ♥️ @islajanehickman

Nominated for a Special Award, I mean there’s not many dance teachers/schools that have had a 20 year run like we have, it’s not been simple or easy and in all honesty @jenninolanowens has always said we should write a book!?! 🤣 Thank you so much Jen and @thatsshowbizuk for this nomination and the publishing deal?!? 🤪 We can’t wait to get all glammed up and spend the evening with a room full of talented, passionate, hardworking, creative, knackered teachers and industry specialists - it’s going to be Fabulous! 9 years!!! Feels like another lifetime 💔 Do you remember where you were at 9:14pm that night? 11 years in, had a full refurbishment at the studios, in the middle of heavy show prep, got the devastating call, broken hearted, got our heads together, pulled off the most amazing show 3 weeks later, beautiful dance school friends reached out to help with several costumes, carried on with classes and building up the school, kept the dream alive and finally got our current studio space! I say current as you know, it’s us!?! At no point did Kim and I think, “shall we just call it a day?” We never stopped, we never gave up and we hope this is installed in our students. We are more than just a dance school - WE ARE A FAMILY 🫶🏻 * we know what has happened since - please no negative comments about that person on here - thank you *
