One year. I can’t even believe it.
From the very first event I put everything into this. New photos shot for every single flyer, intentional rollouts, and making sure the music selection felt fresh every time. Nobody saw the hours behind the scenes.. the planning, the tweaking, the making sure every detail was right from start to finish. I just knew the feeling I wanted to create and I kept showing up for it every single time.
And y’all showed up right back. Every event, every time. The growth this past year has been real and none of it happens without every person who came through, shared a flyer, brought a friend, or just trusted the vibe.

These days when people ask how I’m doing, I say tired. But blessed always follows right after.
For years now I’ve been able to move through what I love, sharing art in all its forms, building trust with people who let me bring something real to their world. That means everything to me.
I just pray I get to keep doing this. Keep creating alongside the right people. Keep growing something that feels like community.
Design, photography, marketing, curation, DJing, all of it. And somehow balancing so much more on the side. When I really sit with where I was 3, 4 years ago… it’s a lot to take in. But no complaints. Ever.
This is exactly what I always wanted. 🫶🏾

Been sitting on these for almost a year I guess I was just waiting for the right moment to let them go.
Shot this with @ebony.angel a while back and honestly forgot how much I love just being behind a lens. No pressure, no deadline. Just two creatives in a space doing what feels natural. Those are always the sessions that age the best.
People always ask if I still shoot with djing taking up so much of my life now. Like one thing has to replace another. The answer is yeah, always. The camera never left. Visuals have been involved in everything I do. It’s the same language, just a different instrument.
Opening day gave me a push I didn’t know I needed. Reminded me that sharing your work isn’t about the timing being perfect. Sometimes you just have to post it and let it find the people it’s meant for.
Sometimes you gotta step away from your own work to remember why you started. Every time I do, I come back with cleaner eyes and a sharper instinct. Feel like a whole new creative each time.

It’s been a minute since I had a day off and a weekend of not dj’ing. It was so good to be able to just be amongst so many people that I don’t get to see often and on top of that the vibes were amazing. I plan on keeping my camera with me more often this summer so you better be fly ✨ 🫶🏾
