SID 2025✅💪
Compete Limitless had a team out at SID in July and they smashed it! It was a gruelling two days graft (particularly with the worm) but the team got it done, finishing 15th in a very strong group of teams. Well done guys!
CrossFit Semi Finalist @wraggidfitness 🇬🇧
James started following our generic programming less than 1 year ago.
From then on he would also make an effort to come to our training days and get involved with the community.
Around 3 months ago James decided to go up a tier on coaching and invest in our systems.
Since then I've made a great friend, I lean on James for advice when I need a wise word myself.
In the past health complications (seizures) would become more common and aggressive when James was burnt out and under recovered.
Because of this he has developed an extremely high athlete IQ, learning how to monitor and manage training load and stay organised through the year with comps.
Last year James finished 4,881st worldwide. This year qualifying for semi finals 👏
2026 CrossFit Semi Finalist @jess_slater99
This one is a close one to me as this is my beautiful girlfriend.
I can't express to you had much this girls head game has come on.
Jess has always been a grafter in training! But to see her enjoying the sport more than ever now and being able to see her execute well and improve so much this year has been special.
I remember seeing your first chest to bar, handstand walk steps, bar muscle ups.
Now to see you crush a grippy workout with 40 bar muscle ups 🤯
Proud of the work been done and we know what we need to improve on going forward.
Let's go ❤️
2026 CrossFit Games Semi Finalist @lukehopcroft25
I remember seeing Luke in a class at @dominus_crossfit doing handstand walks first time no problem 😂
Lad has always had a natural talent for it all.
I gave him a pointer and within a week he became my training partner!
He was a quick learner, he'd just watch me do it and copy.
He would get so pumped because he'd just be hitting PBs every day.
The lad has since left me to go back down south after some great months training together 🥲
Coaching still continues and we do our best to help Luke develop as much as possible.
This is an incredible achievement, 2 and a half years into the sport and only 20 years old.
Top 500 next year lad 👊
Next stop BF3❗️
First Quarter finals done. ☑️
Thank you to everyone involved and my amazing community and coach for getting me through. @compete_limitless . The support was incredible. 🙏🏻.
51 places short of semis hurts a little 🥺.. But I never even thought I would come close. Time to back myself a little more 🥰🤞🏻

Massive congrats team, I know there has been more but these are the ones that have been presented to me on our weekly wins form!
Didn’t know how much this little hobby would turn into something I love so much. ❤️
Got in the gym with friends.. Threw it down and encouraged others. That is what the open is about and always will be for me.. luckily this year I did a little better than I thought I would even having to redo a little hungover 🙈😂.
Thanks to @compete_limitless and @dominus_crossfit . You guys make it so enjoyable every year.. Onto Quarters with the team 💪🏻🤌🏻
Proud of every single one of our athletes who competed in the CrossFit open! It's never easy to step up and compete against the rest of the world 🌍
But today's post is about coaches humble pie 🥧
We are building something good here as I'm now seeing this happening much more often.

2026 CrossFit Open 🏃🏼♂️🏋🏻♂️
Am I happy, yes I improved from last years placing, from 99th to 82nd place from 2025 in 🇬🇧
308 places higher in the world 🌎
What makes me proud of this year is how my training volume reduced dramatically, I didn't make much time for my training as a lot of work has gone into becoming a better coach and business owner.
Total training time reduced to around 60-70% from last year but still training with intent and positive focus every session (even if I have to squeeze in or condense sessions) 👀
Although I am aware to achieve my specific goals within the sport I will need to knuckle down with lots of aerobic development to improve more as a well rounded athlete 🫁
Execution, Attitude and Effort 3️⃣
Something I preach to my athletes. I nailed that in this years open.
Most importantly seeing my athletes improving massively from previous years is the best part! @compete_limitless
Looking forward to gathering even more data in the Quarter Finals next weekend 🫡
Thank you as always to @dominus_crossfit 👊
Wide legs vs Narrow legs for 🦋
Prioritise the two points and choose your style - length + tension!
1️⃣ Wide legs can allow you into a bigger arch depending on your hip structure, if you squat wider with your feet turned outwards you might prefer this as you should be able to get a much bigger arch with better tension and length.
2️⃣ Narrow legs might feel more comfortable for somebody who squats more narrow and toes forwards.
There are other things we can consider.
🧠 Athletes with tighter hip flexors and rec fem (upper quad) will likely not feel comfortable in the narrow leg arch position and may even create back pain.
🧠 Advanced athletes should be prioritising efficiency, whichever position feels more comfortable will likely be more efficient. Learning how we can keep necessary tension while still feeling relatively relaxed is important for efficiency.
‼️ Style points are not given in CrossFit but movement efficiency is rewarded as movements cost less.
Control the Controllables 🧠 Did you know? ⬇️
You cannot control the outcome.
You can control your effort, your attitude, and your execution.
1. EFFORT - how hard did you try?
2. ATTITUDE - how positively focused was your mindset?
3. EXECUTION - how well did you execute your game plan?
They all tie together.
1. Effort - You will need to work hard to execute your plan and maintain positive attitude via pride in your effort.
2. Attitude - remaining positive will allow you to trust your game plan and be calm enough to try hard without emotional burnout.
3. Execution - if done well, you will be able to keep effort high without burning out, give you something to focus on which helps keep you focused on something which = less anxiety and overwhelm.
Athletes who enjoy longevity and consistent improvement in the sport anchor their focus to these three variables. Not the leaderboard. Not the noise. Not the nonsensical anxieties that the human brain creates in these situations.
Did the result not go your way?
You are allowed to feel disappointed. That is part of competing.
However, disappointment should never sabotage your attitude or your next performance. If it fuels productive intent, it becomes an asset. If it damages execution, it becomes a liability.
Your perception dictates your experience.
Focus on what you can control, and competition remains challenging, structured, and enjoyable over the long term.

Burnt out often?
Ever wondered how some athletes train hard all year without breaking down?
Most programmes aren’t poorly written.
They’re poorly balanced.
Training stress has a cost.
Think of draining your battery and needing to recharge enough to perform well consistently throughout the week.
We monitor feedback weekly.
We track mood and energy daily.
We adjust when life adds chaos.
Because it’s rarely about capability.
It’s about stress not matching recovery.
Qualifiers.
Racing friends.
Competitions.
Ego lifting.
It all accumulates.
Having a coach who manages the chaos makes the difference.
