Love, patience, and consistency go a long way 💙 Some pups just need to learn that they are safe before they can truly thrive and we are so grateful to all of our foster’s who show our pups this kind of support 💞 Jackson is in a foster home in Tampa Bay, FL and is still available for adoption! He had a very strong bond to his brother, Jake, who unfortunately passed due to a rare sickness. Jackson is healthy and ready to find a forever home with another pup to bond to, patient humans, a fenced yard, and lots of love to give! Jackson can’t wait to meet his forever family 💙

I still don’t know how I found myself in this situation and I’m really struggling with what to do next because my lifestyle isn’t puppy proof. Travel. On site work meetings. Non profit to do lists. Working out. All while training a puppy despite not ever having a dog of my own. Not to mention we don’t know what we will have to do about her paw that likely has nerve damage. But what I know today is that Luna is so loved and if I were ever gonna have a dog in my life, it would be her. She’s playful and sweet and loving and SOFT and I’m honestly just trying to figure it all out because look at that face!!!!! Thanks for being a part of the journey guys. Meet Papi 🤍 Papi, yes, P A P I, because obviously 🥹, is one of those dogs you don’t forget. He was on the euthanasia list at Kern County Animal Services, and the moment we saw his face, we knew there was something special about him. Sweet, curious, always watching you with those bright, thoughtful eyes, and that little smile, it’s constant. He’s just 17 weeks old. What really got us though, he looked just like Roo and Maple. We thought maybe it was a coincidence, but then we learned he was found three miles away, around the same time. And when they reunited in foster, they knew each other, no question. Now Papi is safe, fully vetted, and thriving. He’s been hanging out with Roo and Maple, making friends with everyone he meets, and proving over and over again that he’s just, a really good boy. But here’s the part we need help with: ✨ Papi needs a foster, or forever home ✨ He’s • amazing with everyone • affectionate and attentive • playful, snuggly, and full of personality • the kind of dog who just gets you He made it off the euthanasia list, now he just needs someone to choose him. 👉 compassionkind.org/foster Let’s get this little soul into a home where he can finally exhale. 🚨 URGENT: WE NEED OUR COMMUNITY TO SHOW UP FOR BALOO 🚨 We are at a breaking point and we are asking, pleading, for help for Baloo. Right now, Baloo is living in an Airbnb because despite our incredible volunteers stepping up to care for him, they are unable to bring him into their own homes. They are sacrificing their time, rotating care, staying with him, exercising him, loving him, and making sure he is safe because they refuse to let him fall through the cracks. But this is NOT sustainable. In just a short amount of time, Compassion Kind has already spent over $1,200 trying to keep Baloo safe and housed. Every additional day adds more cost, and this is quickly becoming impossible for us to maintain while trying to save other animals in need. We have had people reach out offering to foster Baloo, but time and time again, no one has followed through. Meanwhile, Baloo is still waiting. Waiting for stability. Waiting for someone to choose him. Waiting for a home where he can finally settle in and feel safe. And we need to be honest. This situation is becoming incredibly urgent. Baloo is a good dog. He deserves consistency, patience, and love. He deserves someone willing to see beyond his circumstances and give him the stable environment he has been missing. Baloo needs: 🐾 Ideally a no animal home, or an experienced foster willing to do very slow introductions and proper separation if there is another dog 🐾 No cats 🐾 No young children 🐾 An adult-only home preferred 🐾 Someone willing to give him structure, decompression, exercise, and love We cannot continue this Airbnb situation long term. Happy tails for Grisol, now Maya 💛 When Grisol first came to us, life had not been kind to her. After being discarded by a breeder who no longer wanted her, this sweet senior girl found herself needing a fresh start. At around 8 to 10 years old, she deserved so much more than being thrown away. Grisol came to us with teeth in very poor condition and desperately needed to have all of her teeth removed. But if you know Grisol, you know one thing. Nothing slows this girl down. She is as sweet as can be despite all she has been through! Now thriving on her soft food diet, Grisol is happier, healthier, and living the life she always deserved. And the best part? She found the PERFECT forever family. Not only is Grisol absolutely adored and spoiled rotten, but she also gained a canine best friend that she completely loves. Watching her settle into a home filled with love, comfort, companionship, and patience has been everything we could have hoped for. From being discarded to deeply cherished, this is the happy ending we dream of for every pup. We are so incredibly happy for you, sweet Maya. Your best chapter has officially begun 💕

Every dog you see here is gone. These are not isolated cases. This is not rare. This is happening over and over again. Since November, I have personally been involved with more than 45 dog poisoning cases in Jamaica. Puppies. Street dogs. Community dogs. Innocent animals dying some of the most horrific deaths imaginable. The poison commonly being used, paraquat (Gramoxone), is banned in over 70 countries because of how dangerous and toxic it is to animals, humans, wildlife, waterways, and the environment. Yet it remains easily accessible. We are working on things behind the scenes, but we need people paying attention NOW. Please sign the petition. Please share this post. Happy Mother’s Day from Noodle! Noodle is still looking for her forever home in Los Angeles. She was rescued from an encampment in Sun Valley after her friend was hit by a car. Noodle is so grateful for all foster moms that step up to help save lives! She is also grateful for moms of all kinds, dog, cat, human, guinea pig, bearded dragon, etc! Baloo is still waiting‼️‼️ please share 🚨🚨 (swipe to see a sad photo of him waiting for his turn to go on a walk) Baloo is still stuck in limbo, and our hearts are breaking for everyone involved. An incredible person stepped up as an emergency overnight foster when nobody else would. They opened their home to save him from having nowhere to go, even knowing it would be difficult. But overnight turned into days, and now it has been over a week of constant separation, rotating animals, stress, and management inside the home. Their animals cannot freely exist in their own house right now. Doors have to stay shut. Dogs are being rotated. Cats have to be carefully protected. One of their resident dogs is already regressing in training because of how stressful and disruptive this has become. The foster has continued trying to make it work out of pure compassion, but this is not fair to them, their animals, or Baloo. They are doing everything they can to give him the best in this situation and are truly amazing people, but it just is not a sustainable situation. And honestly, it is heartbreaking for Baloo too. He doesn’t want to be alone when the other animals are getting their turn and he spends that time crying- which also upsets the other animals and the humans. He deserves peace. Stability. A home where he can finally breathe and just be a dog. Because outside of this situation, Baloo is truly such a loving boy. He is affectionate, goofy, active, and deeply bonds to his humans. He loves trail walks, adventures, cuddling on the couch, and soaking up attention from the people he trusts. He is fully vetted and up to date on everything. Baloo simply needs an adult-only, no-animal home. Please, if you have ever considered fostering, this is the dog that truly needs someone to say yes. Even temporary help could completely change his situation right now. Please message us ASAP if you can foster or adopt.
