One year living the life I dreamt of as a kid - but a lifetime enjoying the ride 🎙️ 🎵: Dreamer - Trippie Redd

My dad was diagnosed with a brain tumor when I was 5 years old. I’ve always found being positive and moving forward have been the best ways for me to handle that, but sometimes by doing that you eventually realize that years go by, and suddenly you’ve barely talked about one of the most influential pieces that shape who you are. So as I notice the first stupid gray hairs pop up on my head, I recognize that time only moves faster, and I didn’t wanna let more years go by. This year I made a goal to be more intentional about keeping my dad’s memory alive. Part of this path led me to the National Brain Tumor Society… and out came an opportunity to host the SoCal Brain Tumor Walk this year. Found this community of people who knew exactly what that world feels like, and watching people channel their own fight and positivity toward finding a cure felt like a fulfillment I had been needing for some time. All this to say it’s never too late to discover and rediscover things that matter to you. If ur still reading thank you for staying this far, I don’t do posts like this much. I also hate reading.
