For the Solidarity Festival (16th of May) we have delicious food that is provided by @communitycraftcircle 💚 feel free to register in the link in the bio for the Solidarity Festival & come taste the delicious food! The community craft circle is a group/space primarily for tool building and exists out of a need for neurodivergent spaces and ways of being. We come together as CCC, keeping in mind non-transactional ways of making, gathering, and fundraising outside institutional and capital-generating spaces. At the festival, CCC cooks for Pinky, a 19-year-old national level Rugby player currently based in Delhi, India. We will be redirecting ccc’s participation fee towards the funding of her film; featuring her journey from working as a garbage picker to becoming a Rugby player told by her through an embroidered book and a rap song. 

Along with some South Asian street snacks and dinner, we are also hoping to bring to the table some resources documenting the Indian State’s complicity in the genocide in Palestine, and share interconnected urgencies also between Congo and Sudan. In light of the deteriorating situation in Gaza and Sudan, ccc along with jacuzzi hosted a pre-loved clothes, zine, food, and prints sale - with an accompanying listening programme to raise urgent funds for aid. We were supported by wonderful others who voluntarily added to the collection of prints and zines on sale. 🫂 With all the generous contributions from many of you comrades, we were able to raise 1391 euros!!! 🔻500 euros of which were sent to a fund directly distributing aid to families in Gaza and 200 euros, to a father of five children in Gaza, who are in dire condition 🔻691 euros were sent to Abdulaal Hussein, a Sudanese performance artist/actor/theatre performer based in NL who is currently raising funds for a hospital in the town of Maiurno, Sudan if anyone would still like to contribute to the fundraisers above, please reach out and we can connect you through!🌸🌿🪡✨ thank you all for your help! in defiance and solidarity ccc🪡🤲🏽
