In a world full of endless options, staying true to yourself takes real dedication. On January 7th, we’re beginning The Practice of Everyday, a 90-day yoga journey built around a simple idea: showing up, even for just ten minutes, matters. Each day brings a short practice with a new focus, offering space to move, breathe, rest, or challenge yourself. This offering grew from two simple truths. We all have ten minutes, and real change comes from returning to the mat again and again. There’s no shortcut to growth or deeper connection. It happens through consistency, patience, and being part of the process. Everything adds up. We’d love to walk this path with you. Join us on the mat.

Join Erica on Thursday, November 27 at 9:30 am PST for 90 minutes to move, breathe, and settle into gratitude that stays with you long after class ends. A mix of steady flow, deep rest, and little pauses that remind us why practice matters. Seattle friends, the in-studio class is on a waitlist, but we recommend jumping on it since plans often change and spots usually open. Can’t make it in person? We’re livestreaming the full class. Commune Online members can find the link in the Community Hub. Not a member yet but want to join online? Send us a DM and we’ll help you get set up. Bring your friends and family and practice with us wherever you are. We’re so grateful for this community and can’t wait to share the morning with you! 😊

3 Ways to Stay Engaged in Your Yoga Practice Create a Ritual🌿🕊️ Your practice becomes more meaningful when it has rhythm. Start with five deep breaths, end with a few favorite poses, or maybe add a little meditation. The small details create consistency, and consistency brings depth. Rituals don’t have to be complicated, they just have to be yours. Challenge Yourself 💪🏽🧘🏾‍♀️ Growth happens when we step just a little outside our comfort zone. Try a pose that stretches your limits, hold a little longer, or explore a sequence that asks more of you than usual. Even slowing down and sitting in stillness can be a challenge. The pursuit itself becomes part of your practice. Explore and Play 🤸‍♂️🌸 There are many ways to practice yoga, and each pose can be approached in new ways. Experiment, try variations, notice how your body responds, or move differently than usual. Playfulness opens curiosity, encourages self-discovery, and keeps your practice fresh. Which of these tips will you try in your next practice? Let us know below. #CommuneYoga #SeattleYoga #YogaPractice #MindfulMovement #YogaTips #FindFreedomInYourPractice

these four videos are part of a practice i have been enjoying all summer long, especially at the beach - many of the elements just hit a bit different in the sand. part one : the flow - a strong sequence focussed on balance and playfulness. mostly hands free with lots of time on the toes. i usually do 5-7 rounds. part two : 10 sissy squats in a row, i often do a few rounds pairing these with the handstands from the part three. part three : handstand holds with tuck and straddle shapes. part four : finishing with L sit holds and forward fold reaches before taking a few back bends. full class available follow along style in our online studio right now! if you give any of this a go let me know how it lands for you 🙏🏼 #yogateacher #yogapractice #yogasequence #yogaflow #yogajourney
