Sometimes the details and reason why just mean that bit more. Recently we commissioned the making of a small amount of overshirts for some of our team when doing events.
We partnered with @commonsenseclothes , a sustainable clothing company founded in Leeds during the lockdown, 2020. We simply love their company motto of, “Lets make things better”. In a world of fast fashion they are fighting back reviving age old rules of quality tailoring. Timeless style and quality garments, made with love and built to last.
It would have been easy to grab some shirts and chuck a logo on there. Instead commonsense use a locally woven cloth and all the sewing was done in Yorkshire. From some chats and very rough designs the head of sewing, Liza, and her team, developed a pattern and garment to be proud of.
