We’re delighted to announce that we will be hosting, alongside our partners Common Grains, another Scottish Seed Fest this June. Join us on the banks of the River Dee at the beautiful Newton Dee Camphill Community, just outside Aberdeen, for a celebration of all things seedy and grainy in Scotland. More details and tickets will be available soon, but look forward to a day of connection, learning and fun. One thing we can say is we’re planning a lettuce tasting session, so if you’ve got any already sown or that are quick enough to start now, please bring think about bringing one along 😋 🥬

Looking forward to a right day full of sessions on Oats and Bere Barley, linking Welsh and Scottish grain networks
Really lovely wee pack in the post for attendees, big thanks to @thegaiafoundation Seed Sovereignty Programme
This wall is brilliant, just so many choices, information and endless potential for creativity and of course to nourish.
Now imagine if even more of this food was grown in Scotland, by people treated and paid fairly for improving soil health and feeding their communities.
What action do we need to take for this to be a reality?
It’s near a year since we met at Bowhouse, so keen to catch up with how things have evolved over the last few months for yourselves. Got bit of an idea fermenting, more details soon

Hope your all getting on great! Be great to hear what you’ve all been getting on with over the last few months...
Here’s a couple photos of grains from a wee patch in the garden here, it’s from @torthytir population, given out at @oxfordrealfarmingconf sown in February in Kincraig - no idea what I’m doing but there are a few there!

Really great to see @mungoswells and @scotlandthebread on the news last night. Massively grateful for what you do and well done for safely cracking on and keeping folk fed 🙌💪🌾🏴🍞
We must remember who we relied on, who went the extra mile and keep supporting these people, as well as the ones who could not continue in these circumstances. We need the smaller scale, the closer connections, the diversity, and resilience.
