Hello. I've been working on an EP called The Fall and Rise of Evanion, which is nearly finished. In a nutshell, it's a concept record about Henry Evans (Evanion), a Victorian magician (it's also a bit more than that, of course).
This track, Matinee at Night, is off the EP. I thought I'd share it. The whole song is on bandcamp (follow the link in my bio).
Thank you to my collaborators Lizzie Barratt and Anna Chamberlain, who feature on the song and have been a tremendous, prestidigious inspiration.
Thanks also to @jack.chuter for the beautiful master.
Hope you listen and like where we're going.
Some more photos of Paris, featuring more graves, Paris St Germain stadium, spindly trees, pyramids of slag (“terrils” they’re apparently called) and some daffodils (not Paris). 35mm
Took a camera designed for capturing motion to two cemeteries (Abney Park and Montparnasse), work and Vauxhall. Featuring the graves of J. K Huysmans and Baudelaire. 35mm black and white.
